1)It says rechargeable. It isn't. It has a battery which is not accessible & no means of recharging unless the magic pixies can do it.2)It arrives with no instructions, not even the means of downloading the app. I got it from playstore but it has no instructions for use of the device, most of the supposed function do not appear & it will not connect to my phone anyway.Returned for refund.

I picked up one of these to put in my suitcase for a recent trip just in case it went missing and it does exactly what I wanted it to do.Setting up the slim card tracker device is really easy and once set up you can make the device ring from your phone (if you're in range) which is surprisingly loud. You can also double tap the button on the tracker to make your phone ring.And the app is very easy to use

This is a great product but only good for nearby devices within Bluetooth range. If your device is out of Bluetooth range, it cannot tell you where it is but only just lets you know that you have been disconnected from the device. So it may be a good product for your wallet or similar devices inside your house or a region within range which you may have placed somewhere you cannot find but this would not be useful if you misplace the product far away.

The product itself works well and the app is not the best. It's good if in Bluetooth range as you can locate the item in your house. But have to keep checking to see if the tracker is still connected as mine disconnected after a week.

0* review but wouldnt let me do that so. This is useless, have had nothing but issues with this. Ring phone constantly. Wallet is now lost and this is not locating it as it say off line which it does often, but as I knew where it was at the time it was ok. Was going to return but not sble to. Really everyone don't buy. Save your money.

I have used rival brand trackers for a while, but they are usually not suited to wallets due to their size. Seeing the Tag8 Dolphin, it looked ideal as a wallet tracker.The tracker itself is about the size of a credit card, just twice a thick. It has the Dolphin branding embossed on it and a single button on one corner. The built-in battery is not user replaceable and is listed as being good enough for 36 months - the back of the packaging does say the battery lasts for 6 months and is replaceable, but this is false. As can be seen from the pictures too, the tracker arrived with the packaging being open. As it is slim, it could easily have come out and got lost before getting to me.To use, just installed the Tag8 Dolphin app on your phone and follow the instructions to bind the tracker to your account. This is a simple process and worked first time. Once bound, you can use the button on the tracker to act as a camera shutter button (a quick press) or to find the phone (a long press). In the app you can also see if the phone and tracker are near each other and when in range, send an alert to the tracker to make it play a tune.Having used it now for nearly a month, it has stayed connected all the time. I did get a random issue with the app itself, though. One day the phone just started ringing with no notifications or similar to tell me why. The app would also not open at all, so I had no way to turn off the ringing other than force closing the app. Once that was done, I was able to reopen the app without issue. My suspicion is that I had long pressed the button in my wallet, without realising it. This isn't an issue with my key trackers, as the app for those have always allowed me to turn it off.Another problem is the tracker only works when around 70 m away (basically within Bluetooth range). When out of range, all you get is a map that shows you the last known location. If it has been moved since then, you will have no way to track it until you get into range. Compared to my other trackers which utilise 'cloud tracking' and have a larger use base, this makes the Dolphin tracker less versatile.

Great item that just doesn't look like it can do the job but it really does - I'm forever putting down my wallet and forgetting where but the beeps and the GPS are really great

Doesn't connect well, especially compared to my tile tracker. The tracker map showed my "wallet" was in a location few miles from my house although I'd never been there and wallet was in my house.

Note: This item is not for tracking things for long distances. This is an ideal item for somebody who lives in a messy house or apartment and constantly misplaces their purse or their wallet. I say that because there is a limit on how far it will work because it relies on Bluetooth... This is not the fault of the manufacturer, and is indeed just the nature of Bluetooth and its limitations.Note #2: you will need to download the dolphin app either using the search option in your app store or reading the QR code in the instruction manual using an app of your choice. You will need to give it full access to your phone before it works. It took me some time to realize that, but I figured it out without even having to contact the company.The card itself is well made and has a lot of structural integrity. Once it is linked to your phone, you can put the card into your purse or your wallet or any other thing that you keep losing around the house. The battery is replaceable in last for up to 6 months.Not only can you use your phone to make the card start beeping with it's built-in alarm, thus helping you find your lost item, but if you lose your phone you can just get the card and press the button on the card and your phone will start ringing.... So it helps locate two different things basically.Even though there are limitations on the distance (250-300 feet max,) if you are living in a house with a lot of clutter or an apartment, there are definitely uses for this device. I've been in some very messy apartments, and those folks could have used this device for sure to help find their favorite purse or whatever.Keep in mind you will need to turn your Bluetooth on in order for this to work, but that's easy and quick obviously.If the card & the phone become separated so far away from each other that the connection disconnects, you will have access to the last location it was before the disconnection.It's honestly gonna be useful for lots of people.For price?4.5/5

It only works if bluetooth is enabled, if bluetooth is not enabled then the device is useless. The BT range is very less, it disconnects even when tou go to a different room.The notification when you move away from the tracker is too anoying, as the BT range is less, you will get too many notifications and alerts.The volume of the sound from tracker is too low... if the tracker is in cupboard, you can not hear it ringing.Avoid this product, try looking for a better product.

The box it came in seemed fine but for some reason the package to the item that was in the box was all torn open like someone opened it up then re taped the box close but didn't fix the package in the box not happy want a return.

tag8 is a great company. I’ve had other trackers and they’ve helped me countless times. This slim is perfect for my Laptop bag, and while its perfectly audible. The great part is that millions of tag8 users can help you locate your stuff if it goes missing, all with complete privacy! The battery lasts a very long time. I probably replace them once a year.

Used it for my phone. So far so good.
