Q: 1 of my cats naturally has a low appetite, do you think the play food dispenser will lower it anymore than it is already since she has to work for it?

Add some appetite stimulant in too. The mix of food and a treat every so often may be more enticing. Plus cats don't like food sitting in their bowl. This helps with that issue

Q: What is stopping the dispenser holes from facing down and dumping a bunch of food out?

We have a 30 lb dog that is food addicted. Her food is small and have never had the problem you seem concerned about. We usually fill thru the holes because it is very inconvenient to remove cylinder, fill and put back on.

Q: FDA certified? What did they certify about a dog toy?

This product fully complies with EN71 standard, BPA content is less than 0.04mg / L, I'm sure it is safe for pets. other toys intended to be placed in mouth is applicable to be this tested Please be assured purchase.

Q: What holds it to the ground? My dogs are bowling balls.

Nothing it is free standing you could probably attach it to a surface with screws if you would want.
