... 3 main reasons that five star notebooks are my favorite go-to notebooks
There's 3 main reasons that five star notebooks are my favorite go-to notebooks. The first reason is the driving force behind keeping me a loyal customer and preventing me from going to any other brand. 1. These notebooks last forever. I'm a Math major; I sometimes have to go back years into my notes to look at how to solve a specific problem. I do not treat my notebooks well. These notebooks hold up like no other brand that I've used before. In between getting wet from being rained on or having hot coffee spilled on them, they have remained fully intact. The cover, back, and all of the pages in between are not even close to falling off, even after all of the use that I've put them through. 2.These notebooks contain double sided pockets. Thus eliminating the need to buy a notebook and folder for a class. Making this a very cost effective purchase. I could ramble on again about the durable quality that five-star provides with their products, but I'll spare you some time - it's very durable and will last just as long as the book itself. 3. The paper is high quality. The pages have been perforated and are easier to tear off cleanly than other brands. The holes are pre-punched as well. The paper is thick and not easy to poke through with your pencil, which is a good thing.

Perfect! (almost, but definitely awesome!)
I've been using these notebooks for years and they are the best I've come across. The poly cover and stiff cardboard back are nice and durable. The spiral binding doesn't get smooshed. The perforated sheets don't tear off at the drop of a pin, but when you want the sheet removed, it comes off fairly easily. The pockets in the front have plastic coating reinforcement on the edge of the pocket and fits what I want. The only thing about the pockets is that they wear through on the bottom after abusive use. Just note that when getting this notebook, it is the 11" x 8 1/2" version, not the 10 1/2" x 8" version. Any pages you may want to put into those folders do not fit! Of course the sheets are smaller as well.

great product....
Great product. I bought a bunch of the 100-page one-subject notebooks for college courses. I could not be more satisfied. They are great quality and the price from amazon was good (about $2.00 each which was even cheaper than buying a comp book). I was a little frightened about buying because it was "assorted colors", although I am happy I rolled the dice because I received all good colors (mostly gray, blue, and green...I thought I was going to get slammed with all pink and purple ones but I didn't). I bought a100-page one-subject notebook for each of my classes rather than a five-subject notebook.... the 5-subject notebook has 250 pages in it, which is only 50 pages per subject...buying the one-subject notebook was a better deal and had more pages per subject...

Great notebooks, vibrant color!
These are great quality notebooks. They are very durable and the pockets inside are much better quality than other notebooks in this category. They are a bit pricey, but definitely worth the extra money if you need the pockets inside and need them to last through a full semester of heavy use.

Best notebook
I only have one class this semester. I was getting paranoid the papers i was folding up and storing in my previous notebook would get lost, and I didn't want to have to carry around a folder in addition to my notebook. Then I remembered these old Mead notebooks from my high school days...and sure enough they're still here for me! Includes a two sided folder insert, giving you two pockets to store papers in. Truly great for those of us who want to minimize the number of items we carry to class. I clip my pen onto the wire and all I need to carry are my books and this notebook, and I no longer worry about losing my papers. Thanks Mead!

Fivestar notebook
I absolutely love these college rule notebooks! I ordered two for my classes and figured I needed one more. I love that they send out a random patterns! Always fun to know what I’m going to get next! This last one I ordered had pages ripped out and jam all over it so I will be sending that one back and getting a replacement.

Good, but bleeds thru if press too hard.
Lots of room & pages, nice pockets at the front. My one complaint is it bleeds through if you press too hard with a pen!

Best notebook paper anywhere
I tried getting my kids notebooks from the dollar store places. There is no comparison. I don't know if Five Star uses magical trees, but their notebooks are sturdier, cleaner, and better quality paper. Dollar store and store-brand notebooks have way-too-thin paper and are very dusty somehow (?). Some things in life you just need to pay for. As a former A+ over-achiever, I am in love with school/office supplies of all kinds, and I've been through enough of these that I know Five Star is better. It just is. It's a mystery I am willing to shell out a few more bucks for.
