Dies quickly!
Love the design, very cute and my girls love it too, BUT my only issue is that when is fully charge it needs to get recharge after 2 days of use even with the battery saving switch button, the good thing is that they gave a usb cord and I just keep it plugged in all the time, too sad I did like the idea of having the clock cordless

So cute and works great!
I love how cute this is. My only feedback is that it should indicate percentage of battery left so we know when to plug it in

The alarm clock does not have to be plugged in! Its rechargeable. Perfect for a young child. Easy to set up. The music is awesome, for example "The sound of silence" is available. The nightlight is not too bright, just a warm glow.

Perfect alarm clock to teach kids time and independence
I got this alarm clock for my kids. They are ages 4 and 7. The 7 year old is the one that is beginning to understand time but I got it so he could see when it's time for bed/ waking up and leaving to school. Several advantages about this clock are that it works without being plugged in (it has an internal battery, but you'll need to charge it periodically), are able to put the display in sleep mode, has a night light, and are able to set 2 alarms. The manufacturer recommends sleep mode, but I prefer for it to always be on, which is the switch you can see on the photo of the back side of the clock. The display light is good for in case kids need a quick flash of light to see in the dark they can quickly turn on and off simply by tapping the top of the clock, or leaving as a dimmer night light. I think this clock is perfect for teaching independence and responsibility because kids are able to see the time and recognize when it's time for different activities/events/routines and are also able to hear the alarm and know it's time to wake up. I'm definitely trying to teach my 7 year old independence for our morning routine. I think this clock more than hits the mark and gets the job done - waking up my child. Now it's up to me to keep on working with him to get himself ready in the mornings instead of waiting for me to enter the room. Alas, those are the parenting teaching tasks.
