I love this T-shirt for Oklahoma Sooners fans - HORNS DOWN - which was made not long after Oklahoma defeated Texas in football this past fall, the last game of the Red River Rivalry. It was such an exciting game, and the Sooners had the drop on them until the very end.I live in Arkansas, and we don't like Texas's football team either. If you're old enough to remember, there was once the Game of the Century in 1969, I believe it was, when Texas was #1 in the nation and Arkansas was #2. They were playing in early December in Fayetteville to determine who'd win the Southwest Conference football championship AND the national championship.It was a heartbreaking game. Arkansas was leading by 13 points, I think - it was a long time ago - and in the fourth quarter Texas scored two touchdowns and won the game. So I had no love for Texas long before I started following Oklahoma in the early years of Bob Stoops's time as coach.All that aside, I love this deep red T-shirt with a drawing of my favorite player, Drake Stoops, and the words HORNS DOWN on the front. It has a comfortable crew neck and can be ordered in either long or short sleeves. I ordered the short sleeved T-shirt, but now it's clear to me that I need the long sleeved version of the shirt, too.Everything about this order was perfect - the shirt fits true to size, the color is a deep, true red, it's 100% cotton and 100% comfortable. The message speaks for itself, and I love that, too. I've been waiting since 1969 (when I was just a little kid) to send this message to Texas football, and now I am.
