This (bag) is freaking awesome!
Got this bag cause I was tired of carrying both my purse (which is super heavy) and a big tote bag (which is also heavy) to work everyday. This bag is AWESOME. When the strap is fully extended, I can sling it across me with ease, and it doesn't dig in! (I'm a rather busty girl, so it's kinda a challenge to find a bag that actually does sling across me, without being up my armpit or cutting into my neck.) The bag is made of a tough and sturdy canvas, but it feels nice and soft to the touch. It's about half the size of a standard messager bag, which is the perfect size for me, because I have to stuff it in the tiny register area at work. (The area is about 2 feet by 4 feet.)Here's what is fits: My water bottle (It's 10 inches tall), my Kindle w/ it's cover, my wallet (about 6 by 3 inches?), my 3 sets of keys, my phone (a Droid type), an compact umbrella (about 7 inches tall and 3 inches around), my (bundled) earbuds, my sunglasses, a few small assorted things (a tissue pack and a bag of M&M's right now), and it still has plently of room for more! The only downside is that the little leather straps don't really work all. But, since I never use straps on my bag, I don't really give a hoot. Also, this bag does NOT stand up on it's on AT ALL. It flopps right over! But again, I don't need it to stand, so I don't care. Also, mulitple vendors sell this bag, but this vendor sells it the cheapest (yes, even with the extra shipping!) and it arrived in a timely fashion.TL;DR Bag is great quality for a great price. Straps are blick, but all in all, a fantastic bag!

Great basic bag
I got this simple bag to toss a few things in (wallet, phone, keys, water bottle) when I head out because I love the look of it. It's a no frills bag- one big pocket and I never take the time to buckle the straps. I also like the long shoulder strap. I knew that it was basic when I bought it and I was fine with that since I like the look of it. I've only had it a month or so, so who knows if it will hold up, but for $16 I'm not really expecting it to last for years. If you like the look and don't mind no inner organizing pockets, go for it. It's a cool bag and easily worth the $$$.

i absotively posalutely love this bag.
i use this as a bookbag and this thing is STURDY. I've had it for two years, and i would choose it over any other $80 bag out there. regular backpacks are bulky, uncomfortable, and always end up impossible to navigate to find your favorite pencil. as a simple book bag for an average class(without 10 textbooks), this bag is all you need. it covers the minimums in a convenient and surprisingly comfortable video game nerd style that you don't have to play left 4 dead to understand.things I've managed to stuff into this thing. (at the same time)four STAPLES brand spiral notebookstwo average-highschool-size textbooksa small reading bookan arizona personal teait was a tight fit, but it was all there. i've had messenger bags that cut into my shoulder, despite their padded handles, but this was perfectly comfortable, with out any of the fancy stuff.my only qualm is that when stuff is in it (when the contents of the bag equal the thickness of the bag), the plastic "leather" straps MUST to be pulled (which this little bag can handle in stride) to meet the buckles at the loosest hole. so i just leave the strap open, probably what i would do even if they could reach. but when i do buckle it, i feel confident my favorite flavor of Gatorade won't get stolen by my sticky fingered friends.when buckled, it's snug and the contents don't shift around much.the other qualm was really miniscule. the strap doesn't stay in that adjustment clip. it just loosens to the longest length, which totally works for me since i'm tall. but if you want it to stay, slip a pin button on there and a safty pin for safety. problem solved.here. have a med pack.

For the money, a good product. Its larger than i expected.
Okay, I've got this (too large) messenger bag from Barnes and noble. It cost about fifty bucks. It is a really nice bag: half canvas, half leather. BUT! It's a tad on the 'too large size" ...perfect for a full size Lap-top. A nice padded space down the middle, all kinds of 'gizmo pockets'. Really nice. But it feels like I'm carrying luggage. Bulky.Nowadays, men have to carry: tablet or IPad, ( who wastes time with a laptop?) a phone of some kind, wallet, keys, chargers for all your tech's, ( don't forget about cords and cables) check book (for when the card purchase acts up) ear-buds, and I carry some floss and mouth wash (I am kinda OCD about my teeth and breath) ....Query: where is a GUY supposed to put all this junk!!??Cargo pants were the first attempt to accommodate this dilemma. But, not only are cargo pants out of style, it was just ridiculous to try to pack all this gear IN your pants!!Well, this is one of my attempts to find a mid-sized bag with simple features. I only carry a tablet, so I don't need a huge padded space for a NASA sized device. Well this NATO bag is pretty cool. ...grab a few things and dash out the door! It is a very tough fabric. Almost like stiff canvas. It will hold my tablet, phone, and all support material. The strap was JUST barely long enough, but attached well. My wife says the black bag, with the big red punched out cross is "kinda cool". The leather straps are adequate. Not flimsy or fakey. Just right for a change of clothes or your day bag stuff...$15...what else can ya say?

Pretty cool
I bought this(awhile ago off of amazon) and it has come in handy. When I first bought this I thought I would need it a lot, nope not really. When I need something to put something in when I go out this is my first go to. It's a little bit small but it's good enough for a couple note books. I also put some clothes in it and it fit nicely. The leather straps are alright but I'm scared it'll break but it has held! I recommend this for anyone who doesn't carry a whole lot!

Sturdy enough to take out on the trail
I’d like the color so that you know right away what it’s for when in need. I also like the durability the strength of it in the room in this to Carry so much
