This isn’t bad at all.I was going pleased with the results.I applied to my dry roots and applied the rest after I wet the length of my hair.I received a more concentrated/dark color on my root area and a more sheer color throughout the length.The results were exactly as I hoped.One thing to consider before applying this product (especially ash colors!)…Is your hair damaged?If so, you will want to stay away from ash colors.Ash has green in it, it’s great for neutralizing brass, but if hair is dry and damaged it will grab gray/green.Is your hair highlighted?If so, you will want to apply this to the root area first and not leave on the length for long.I’d definitely apply this to wet hair if you want the highlights to show through.The longer you leave the product on, the darker it will be.Again, this isn’t a bad product, often undesirable results are due to user error.

I bought this product because I had last used it in 2022 and liked it. I had saved my old box so I would know what to order. I just received the new box, and the safety seals looked really dirty. I compared the lot numbers, and the old box was much newer than the new box. I called Schwarzkopf, and the nice lady told me that this product has been discontinued, and the new box is from 2020! She said that you shouldn't use a hair coloring product that is over 3 years old, and advised me not to use it. She said the results could be undesired.This in a non-returnable product due to "hazmat safety reasons", and when I tried to do a return/refund online, it wouldn't do it, and I had to call Amazon. I requested that I be refunded for this product for the reasons I gave above. There are a number of reviews stating that the product gave them green hair, green brown hair, and there's no way I'm putting this on my head!

I only gave 4 stars due to the color was way too white for me. The process was easy to use, and had conditioners for my hair.

I'm so happy I found this product! I've used it several times now and it works wonders. My hair color is naturally a medium ash brown and it's hard to find a good store bought ash color that doesn't get brassy. I'd never used a gloss like this and, not only did the color come out perfectly, it was much easier on my hair, which is usually pretty thin and fragile. My hair looks and feels so much stronger and smoother. It has so much shine and it's so soft that I keep petting my head. It completely neutralizes the red and the color lasts maybe 6-8 weeks before I feel like I need to apply it again (I wash my hair every other day to every 2 days). I also like the versatility of selecting for a wet or dry application to get a more or less intense color. I've always done a dry application and leave it on for 25min. I'm very satisfied with the results, which is what you see in the pic. So shiny! And, finally, a proper ash color that doesn't get brassy, it just dulls after many weeks of shampooing. I definitely recommend this.

Easy to use, but product really didn't work well on my hair. Didn't improve shine.

I am 50 years old with a lot of new gray hair, at least half of all new hair at the root is now gray! I have been doing my own cap and foil highlights for decades, but didn't want to put bleach on hair that is already gray and am not ready to go completely gray just yet!! A stylist friend recommended a demi toner so I purchased this kit in natural beige and applied first to my roots and then to the rest of my hair. I left it on the max time as my grays are fairly color resistant and WOW.....I cannot get over how much just adding a little color has taken years off my face!! I did not realize how washed out the gray was making me look! ABSOLUTELY recommend this product for blending grays in with blonde hair! My hair was very shiny and healthy looking as well, cannot say enough good things about this product for hair in my situation!!

Just to clarify for individuals (like me) who don't read every word of the product description that this is NOT grey-coverage hair dye. After utilizing the product, I questioned what had gone wrong, went back to read the description in depth, and saw it stated the product enhances your NATURAL hair color. I believe this is a product designed for younger individuals who have no grey or white in their hair. If utilized by older individuals going grey, you're still going to have visible roots after utilizing the gloss (which means this purchase will be for naught).
