could be nice, but poor quality
Took almost a month to arrive. I like that it's made from bamboo (a renewable resource) rather than plastic but it's poor quality. The black grip began to unravel about 15 minutes after we opened the package, which we will glue (but still...). There is a hole drilled in the center of the bow to help guide the arrows and make it easier for little hands to handle it, which is a great idea. However, the hole is drilled off center (again, poor quality) meaning the arrow will never fit in the hole straight which completely messes up any hope for accuracy. I realize that this is an inexpensive toy, but if the hole were centered and it didn't come unraveled immediately, I would have given it a 4.

Mediocre quality
My 23 month old loves the movie Brave so I searched for a bow and arrows that were age appropriate for her. In addition to being safe for her (i.e. no pointed tipped arrows, etc.) I wanted it to be gender neutral in style/color and affordable. This set seemed to fit the bill. It's available via Prime so I thought I'd take the chance and just order it despite the less than glowing reviews about quality.I definitely agree that the quality isn't the best. Like another review said, if you had the tools I'm sure you could easily make this set yourself. The handle (??) part of the bow was wrapped with a synthetic cord that fell apart within a few minutes of my toddler just holding the bow. The suction cups of the arrows appear chewed up and old; they don't stick to anything. They also aren't attached or glued to the rest of the arrow. The wire cord of the bow has sharp ends as well.I decided to keep this set despite the initial quality. It just needed a little loving. I purchased black leather cord and re-wrapped the handle as well as the tips of the bow to cover the sharp cord ends. I also replaced the strap of the quiver with a braided leather strap that I made from the same leather cord. The last two pictures that I post reflect these changes that I personally made. I also sanded the set down as it was rough and I don't want my toddler getting splinters. I'll also be replacing the suction cup ends. The arrows do shoot an impressive distance although accuracy is questionable. It has the potential to be a great toy, quality is just lacking.

Great little bow for very young kids
When I got this I thought it was smaller and not as nicely constructed as the pictures but on comparison it is exactly like the picture. Maybe just a resolution thing that made it look better in the picture. I tested it out and it works great. Actually it is a lot more powerful than I would have expected given the very small size. The hole through the handle for the arrow to rest in works well. The arrows are just a piece of wood doweling with a suction cup end on them and a slot cut in the other end to go over the string. Simple and works well. Easy to replicate from the hardware store if you need more arrows. Actually this whole setup would be easy to build given a length of bamboo, a wood block to shape into the handle, rope to tie them together and some fishing line for the bow string. My daughter absolutely adores it and thinks she is merida on brave now.

DON'T BUY THIS BOW
Piece of junk, I bought myself a bow, and my little sister wanted one, this one looked nice so we bought. It came and she was so happy only to open the box and have it be snapped. So I figured let's try again. Same thing happened it came snapped. Wouldn't buy ever again

Kids love to play with this
My three year old finds this easy to use and it is so much fun.The wrapping on the handle came loose the first day and we had to replace the string after a couple of months but the bow still functioning fine. The quiver is sturdy and cute.
