Very nice with milk but tastes ok with water if you prefer the healthier option...
This collagen powder comes in a resealable pouch and inside you’ll find the powder. There is no scoop included with the powder so you must use a tablespoon for measurement. The collagen powder looks like any other as I couldn’t see a difference. It is a fine consistency, and the pouch was three quarters full. The resealable pouch is easy to open and resealed with no issue first time. The recommended mix is 200ml of water to two tablespoons (15ml) of powder and it mixed fine with a spoon in a glass. Sometimes, these powders don’t mix well this way, but this mixed easily and without any clumps. Taste wise, I find this to be ok when mixed with water and I usually don’t like these when using water and I have to use milk. This is fine with just water but it’s not a taste I’d go back for because I enjoy it, but it’s fine as it’s only 200ml. I did try it with milk and it’s a lot better this way as it tastes more like a milkshake with a little hint of vanilla. The mixed texture feels just a little thicker than milk on its own. It has a slight hint of sweetness which I find to be perfect for this kind of drink. I did sometimes have a quick tang on the back of the throat as I’m guessing mixing with a spoon didn’t quite dissolve all of the powder so using a shaker or a whisk would be beneficial to get the best out of it. Overall, this is one of the best collagen shakes I’ve had. I’ve tried a few flavours and brands over the years, and this is easily better than all of them. I can have this one with water which is what I’ve always wanted to do but usually I’m not keen on the taste but this one is ok. I am mixing it with milk though as I find it tastier.

Very unpleasant taste of artificial sweetener
It has a very unpleasant taste. I had a reaction to this, tested by not taking it for 2 weeks then started, again same reaction namely swelling in both legs.

Worth giving it a go
I take a collagen powder most mornings with my coffee to help with my joints. This powder combines the benefits of Bovine and Marine peptides in one complete protein source. Marine peptides provide type 1 collagen for skin elasticity, nail and hair strength. Bovine peptides provide type 3 collagen, used in the body to improve bone, joint and organ health. This sounds good to me so I was keen to give it a go.As well as benefiting skin, nails, hair and joints, collagen is a building block for nearly every tissue inside the body - including our gut lining. For this reason, including a daily dose of collagen may help improve your gut permeability, digestion and overall stress management. Collagen is also an excellent source of the amino acid Glycine, which is a precursor to Serotonin - a hormone involved in good mood and healthy sleep. This Marine Collagen is sourced in Europe from freshwater plant-eating fish, reducing the exposure to toxins and heavy metals. This Bovine Collagen is certified grass-fed, pasture-raised and free from routine use of antibiotics or growth hormones and packed in UK GMP facility. The recommended amount per day 15g, around 2 tablespoons which supplies 11g of protein. It can be added to hot or cold drinks. I never like collagen powder in a cold drink and this one is no exception. It does not taste nice in water or any other cold drink I have tried it with. In coffee it is a different ball game. It tastes really good, making my coffee taste creamy. I have been taking it for around two weeks, it is difficult to tell if there is any great improvement, but my skin is looking good and my joints are less painful. This packet contains around 24 servings. The powder is fine and dissolves into coffee easily. It is about average price for collagen. I will continue to use it and see how it goes.

Really nice, high-quality mixed collagen supplement
It’s not often that I like flavoured collagen powders, but I really love this one! The flavour is a lovely vanilla and it dissolves well into either water or milk (I have it in the latter). The collagen contains a 50:50 blend of grass-fed bovine and vegetarian fish collagens and is of very high quality. The fish collagen which is sustainably sourced from European plant-eating freshwater fish which means that heavy metal exposure is avoided, compared to marine collagen which is often sourced from fish higher up the food chain. The bovine collagen is certified grass-fed, pasture-raised and free from routine use of antibiotics or growth hormones. The product is blended and packed in the company’s UK GMP facility. As well as the 80% collagen, the other ingredients are: 10% skimmed milk powder, natural flavourings and sweeteners (from stevia). The shelf-life of my pouch is two years, with a best before date and batch number clearly printed on it.Directions are to mix 2 tbsp (15g) of the powder (12g collagen) into approx 200ml water or add to any drink of choice (once a day) which is a decent dose of collagen. This works out at the current Prime price of £34.99 at £1.45 per day, and the pouch will last 24 days. It’s not cheap but compares well value-wise to other brands out there on the market.I like it, so give it a big thumbs-up all round!

Nice to take with Cofee but its hell of expensive
Apart from very expensive its easy and nice to take with coffee and it comes in a tin with packaging inside sealed. 3 tablespoons seems a hell of a lot though for one cup and so its not going to last very long for £35 in this day and aga of cost of living expenses not many people will afford it.
