So impressed! These are sturdy and easy to assem le. The bottom box just pops right open! I wanted to update our master closet but have so many old photos and keepsakes. My closet was the best option to house them. place. But the old tired banker and hodge podge shoe boxes had to go. I was so happy to find decorative boxes on Amazon. I have now made several orders of these boxes as I have made my way through things, organizing and editing down what I could, I kept finding more I wanted to contain in a beautiful way. These boxes have let me create a much more eye catching closet even with so much to stuff! I would highly recommend these, especially if you're trying to organize in style!

I really do love these boxes. They are crazy easy to put together. They seem extremely sturdy as well. I've been using them to store a variety of items but mainly my bottles of fixed oils & butters; they truly hold up to the mass amount of weight. I didn't experience the issue mentioned by another reviewer of ink transferring to my hands - I bought the pinstripe. I will purchase more when the time comes b/c these are too fantastic and won't make your storage area look like a sterile cold case crime room or something. The hardest thing to put together is the lid - and that's not hard @ all.

These boxes are great quality and look great! Now my files look neat and stylish. Haven't had a problem with ink getting on my hands as some other reviews have pointed out but then again I don't handle these boxes that much, just a couple times a year. I have plastic boxes for for my files that need to be brought down often. Being that these are card board they can't support a ton of handling without a show of wear and stacking them can cause them to buckle just as any card board box would. I love the style they add over standard banker boxes and for what I use them for, viewable storage, they work great.

Gave it 4 stars simply as the box is not super strong sturdy for storing heavy items like the typical plain banker boxes in office shops are for books and papers etc, but I brought these as I wanted pretty boxes for storage of light items and am happy with them.Unlike previous reviews I did not experience the ink coming off the boxes at all which was a bonus and I even rubbed the box and no ink came off on my hands which was good.Easy to assemble and they work well for storing my arts and crafts and junk items in the closet.Would also work well for storing clothes / shoes.Away to buy some more. Good price and look super cute.

These decorative bankers boxes really make me happy. In fact, I just keep coming back for more because these simple boxes create a serene, organized, labeled backdrop for the creative foreground of our lives. When one of us works on a long term project, we often have a box for it. That way, when we need to stop for the day and quit working on that research paper, screenplay, art project, job search, college admissions prep, baby blanket, scrapbook, what-have-you, it all goes back into the box. Then, when we decide to continue working on our novel, knitting, drawing, or origami animals, we just grab our box and everything we need is ready to go.I used to keep our projects in clear plastic containers and was nearly driven mad by all the visual clutter. I just don't need every project in this house taunting me with its nagging incompleteness; no, I need a place to put ongoing projects that are blessedly out of sight and mind. So what if a project dies a quiet death of neglect in its black box? Well, so be it - the somber box colors make a great sending off box that looks smashing at the top of a donation pyre.This family of five has so many long term projects going that if we didn't have boxes like these, we would be swallowed up in a whirlpool of colorful ribbons, paints and whatnot. We would bob to and fro in a sea of books, glues, and glitter. We would definitely be eligible for one of those hoarding shows. Fortunately, if the "Hoarders" cameras caught up with us now, the production crew would be met with neatly stacked walls of labeled boxes. Take that, Minimalists and Spartans.In conclusion, if you are looking for an inexpensive, fun way to conquer visual clutter for supplies, files and projects, I highly recommend these boxes. So.....I'm an admitted organizational mess but I ordered these file boxes to do just that - get organized. Yippee!It actually works. In short order I got all my paper off my dining room table and I'd already purchased file folders so they were ready to accept all the paper. They look nice, they are sturdy and I will surely purchase them again as I organize my clippings, recipes and photos. It's so nice not to have to look a million other places to find that one piece of paper I need. Now I can go right to it!

Do not use cutter to open box... may cut product.

I filled 3 with files full just files no hanging folders, picked up and moved to shelf and it stayed together. Thick pretty patterns. I thought I was getting 2 black boxes and 2 patterns, I got 4 pattern boxes with black lids. I was nicely surprised especially for the price! Easy to put together. Not waterproof. Thick cardboard with what feels like a thin plastic type pattern on outside. Tops are black cardboard, interior is brown cardboards.
