This GUESS Effect line up is feel good, smell good, clean to moisturize to groom ready, all in good sized products at moderate prices. They all have a strong scent that is fresh, citrusy, slightly sweet, slightly musky, and overall young and masculine. Using the whole line definitely makes the scent linger on the skin all day.The face lotion is actually pretty low priced for a 3.4 oz tube. It seems to go on and on as we’ve had 2 boys using it for over a month and it still feels heavy. One of the boys are trying to impress a girl he likes and really enjoys the scented products from this line. This lotion hasn't given his acne prone skin any issues so far. It doesn’t have any SPF, so you would need a separate one for sunblock purposes.

GUESS Effect Grooming PROTECT Hydrating Face Moisturizer Lotion with Caffeine for Men, 3.4 Fl Oz-This lotion is ok but it's far from the best. The first thing that happened when I went to try it was the cap cracked a broke. The lotion itself smells good but it's a bit oily feeling. It also is on the runny side so it's not a thick lotion.Pros-Good scent.Absorbs well. It seems like my skin takes in the lotion well but only if I use it lightly. If I use too much it does leave my skin feeling oily.Only need to use a little.Cons-Too lightweight for the type of container they used. This container just pours the product out too quickly.The presentation/product package needs to be better. It’s not particularly high end so they can get away with less than premium packaging but this feels cheap.Oily feel.Overall I’m mixed on this lotion but it’s definitely not my favorite. Especially for my face, I would rather use something better than this. It’s not terrible and if they fixed the packaging a little it would be ok. This should be in a pump-style bottle with the consistency it is. They did well with the scent though. It’s decent and for the price, I would say it’s worth a try. It just wasn’t the best for my skin.

Guess Guess Effect Protect Hydrating Face Moisturizer Men Moisturizer contains caffeine, so it will not make you more alert (sorry), but will firm up skin temporarily - think bags under your eyes magically disappearing for a while...Scent is quit pleasant, and texture is good - feels liek an lotion, does not leave greasy feel - at least on my face.
