Groovy Records 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

What an AWESOME puzzles. Constructed very well, no problems. Picture has beautiful colors. Winner

It's a good challenging puzzle. And has all my favorite bands! I put 2 coats of modge podge on the front and back and it's hanging on my wall as we speak 🙂

Loved doing this puzzle! However, I somehow lost 2 pieces. I have since framed and given away. I just colored it in. No one is the wiser.

I purchased this last year but didn’t open it until recently. Quality is good. Fun memories of my teen years while putting this one together.

Fun puzzle to assemble, with lots of different paint "finishes" and signs for the shop. Very happy looking final product... Kinda sad to break it up and put it away! Strange feel for fit of pieces. The pieces feel great to manipulate (good quality, attractive, fun shapes), but I was ab little surprised at how the fit felt. Maybe it's the way Springbok makes its puzzles. But not a poor quality fit. Would recommend.

This puzzle was super challenging! I order puzzles that my clients ( development delayed adults) will stay interested in and will challenge them. It helps with fine motor skills, recognizing shape and color nuances plus critical thinking and problem solving. The picture is beautiful and they enjoyed it immensely!

My wife and I chose this as our first puzzle and what a doozy it was! For a guy who was hugely influenced by the music of 60s and 70s this was completely entertaining for me. Not only is the subject of this puzzle a walk down memory lane but these folks as Springbok have come up with some diabolical puzzle pieces. My memory of doing puzzles as a kid in NH during the long New England winters doesn’t include being completely stymied by obtuse puzzle shapes that were part of the Groovy Records puzzle. There were maybe a half a dozen pieces we thought for sure we’d be calling Springbok to get “replacements” for but they eventually turned up. I would highly recommend this puzzle for not only the nostalgia value but the sheer complexity of it too. We did frame this puzzle and have it hanging in our dining room for now. I glued it myself, applying two coats to the puzzle face, flipped it after it dried properly then glued poster board to the back. We had to trim ~ ¼” off the length and ~ 1/8” off the width to get it to fit a standard poster frame from Walmart. We’ve got great memories putting the puzzle together over about three weeks in the evenings. Of course we had the appropriate 60s/70s soundtrack playing to inspire us. The whole Haight Ashbury era was a bit before my time but musically that’s where my heart is.

The pieces are large with many having unique shapes which I love because some puzzles have smaller pieces making it too difficult. See picture comparing the size of this puzzle (on the right) compared to another 1000 piece puzzle with smaller pieces. From now on I’m only buying the Springbok brand due to the quality and size. No issues at all. All of the pieces were there. Getting ready to order another one!
