These massive knitting needles are fantastic for knitting chunky blankets! After multiple attempts at arm knitting, I kept winding up with blankets that looked fine from afar but were like fishing nets as soon as I draped them over anything. These needles were exactly what I needed to make a giant chunky knit blanket sans holes. Sure, it took a lot more time, roving wool, and energy, but it paid off, and the blanket looks so much better now than anything I arm knitted. My needles held up just fine and didn’t break, and I think it’s a good value for just how bulky and massive they are. If arm knitting just isn’t for you, as it wasn’t for me, these are a great alternative! They’re kind of cumbersome to use, but that’s to be expected for the largest size knitting needles on the planet.

These worked perfectly for my project to bake one of those giant, knobby blankets. The only warning I'd give I'd that they're quite large and fairly heavy, so they're not the easiest to use, but I think that's unavoidable when you need sick a large size.

Plastic tubing came off in middle of first project and dropped all stitches. Maybe reinforce before you get started
