Great, green laptop
It goes into sleep mode if left. Neat laptop that works beautifully. Like all the reused plastic etc. It made me feel that I was helping to reuse throw away materials.

2 laptops, 2 returned. Poor power socket and screen flexing
I have always used ACER a brand that I usually like and feel they provide value for money. On the whole when it was price I felt it was good value, but at its price at the time of writing of £699.99 there are better quality laptops out there. Yes, it does a reasonable job of handling everyday jobs but its quality of build I am not convinced about. Putting aside the reversal of the E and R keys which is well documented, the casing fills flimsy and flexs easily. The biggest problem is the power socket and jack which is not the usual size and small. After 6 months of use the jack would not stay in the socket and so charging the laptop was a little hit and miss. In my opinion this is a major flaw. I had to return the laptop and to Amazons credit it replaced the laptop very quickly and with no fuss.UPDATE: I had another one of these laptops bought in July 23 and have just retruned it as the casing is coming away from the screen as it flexes. Returned and getting money back to but a different model/make. Really badly designed laptops

Fantastic product
Bought this for video streaming ( youtube.com/karaokelondon ) and karaoke hosting. Really very well built and extremely fast starting up. Very happy , and a reasonable price too.

Fantastic upgrade from an old ThinkPad.
This was a new laptop for my husband (who was upgrading from an old ThinkPad). Although this is bigger than the old laptop (making it less convenient for traveling), it's made a world of difference because it's so much faster and much more responsive. He's had this laptop for a month now and so far, so good!
