i started down this sunflower seed addiction route before i knew that some of these other brands were out to kill a homie with the amount of salt they put in a single bag. we're talking over 2400mg per serving (2.5 servings per bag). i don't know about you, but i'm not trying to start a war with my heart just because i love seeds. I even found a "low sodium" option in the grocery store that still had 2000mg per serving ... like what?! luckily, for my heart, the clouds parted one day (while i was googling about sodium related deaths) and i just happened upon these seeds. this company is doing what no other seed company is, they are trying to _not_ kill you with their product. i'll be honest, the flavor isn't gonna smack you in the face, but they are still really really good. I think my favorite is hatch, so far, but i've really enjoyed the original and the parmesan and pepper. I recommend turning the bag upside down and giving the seeds a good rustle before you open it. i've found that it helps the seeds get a good flavor dusting before i go to town on the bag.to anyone out there looking for a low sodium option, look no further. your seed addiction can continue unrestrictedto the company, thank you for all you do, you beautiful humans

We reorder these all the time! They are perfect for baseball games, long car rides, or just as a snack. I love that they truly don’t give you “sandpaper tongue” and aren’t overly salty like some other brands.

They are fresh, and the kernel and seed are a very good size. But the flavor is extremely lacking. They might as well been original roasted. Big’s brand Pickle flavored sunflower seeds just cannot be be when it comes to pickle flavor.

I was very impressed with these the moment I tried them! I am a huge fan of sunflower seeds and have always used one of the big names in sunflower seeds, but I was looking for something more natural with less sodium. These are a great alternative and I definitely recommend them!

These sunflower seeds are stale, soft and tasteless. I'm not referring to the "hatch chile" seasoning but to the actual seeds inside the shell. I was hopefully that a Texas 'Homegrown & Homemade product would be a good thing but these seeds belong in the trash bin. The David seeds I buy at 7-11 are far superior.
