Nice iron supplement
Have not had any bariatric surgery but I was looking for an iron supplement that would be easy on my system. This seems to be doing well. I've not had any adverse side effects. Definitely something to add to the regular routine.

Got it because I am focused on absorption
While not a bariatric patient, I have so many nutrient deficiencies that I have begun using bariatric formulas because they are formulated to improve the level of ingredients which are absorbed in the system.Iron tending to bind me up but I have a deficit and do not like the majority of foods that are rich in iron, while apprehensive about trying this, I pretty much knew I should. After a few days of taking this I am happy to report things are moving along their morning routine the way they should be for me.I think many people will balk at the price which is $53.77 for 90 pills, however the serving is only one pill a day which is $0.60 per pill . . . .this is well worth it considering I know I am not eating organ meat, shellfish, beans and dark leafy vegetables . . . well a little bit of the last two but nowhere near enough to keep me from being borderline anemic. This gets four stars for meeting expectations, for me five stars is something that exceeds my expectations, this meets my expectations which is still very good.

Great replacement to vitamins
I had gastric sleeve done a few years ago and wanted to take a supplement that is catered to deficiency in Iron with this specific issue. Per the label it has about 156% of percentage of iron in the supplement and I began taking it immediately when it arrived at the end of September to see how it helped. My iron levels were very low before and I was anemic but currently, my levels have balanced off a bit more now where I am not deficient. In addition, there is a 211% of copper in the supplement meant to help with those specifically having issues with anemia and I feel better so far. This supply is a 90 day supplement and is meant to last for 3 months, so it's a great way to maintain your iron levels throughout the year. Definitely recommend.

good iron booster
I'm chronically low on iron, so I was glad to get this iron booster tablet. Please note that this is meant to be taken with the WLS Optimum Chewable vitamin. The pill is small and it has sufficient iron to boost your levels, plus it contains copper to help the body absorb iron. I'm happy to add this to my vitamin list!

They work!
If you have had any type of Bariatric surgery then you know just how important a multi vitamin is to your regimen. These have kept my levels in check and I don’t feel queasy taking them. They’re relatively smaller than normal Bariatric vitamins which is a welcome change.

Not cheap
Having a doctor as a personal friend has helped me a lot learning about things like vitamins. One is as a generality taking one pill (then reviewing it) means nothing. All vitamins take weeks and even months to register any meaningful effect on the body. I also learned that specifically I should not take iron supplements because they do not always yield positive effects, sometimes they can conflict with other things going on. Yet the body needs iron. And I can take supplements in moderation, and this is not a super dosage product. It also contains copper, something else the body needs, in fact it contains more copper than iron.According to the manufacturer this is an iron tablet specially produced for bariatric patients after a Gastric Sleeve surgery. It is advisable to take Ferro Optimum as an additional iron booster besides the WLS Optimum Chewable. After clearing it with my doctor (as you should always do first) I gave it a try and I am experiencing no adverse effects and already a slight boost of energy. My next blood test will be more conclusive. The issue here is price, this is at the high end for what it contains, it came at an unfortunate time when the administration just promised me that the days of expensive drugs are over.YES NO MAYBEThere is no way possible to know if this is something you should take, ask your doctor before beginning any vitamin regimen.
