I use this to steep the black tea for my Kombucha. Works wonderful and holds 6 tablespoons worth. Only negative was the clap holding the parts together was just a tiny bit open so the top fell off once. Needle nose pliers fixed it right up.

Perfect for tea or a bath brew! Big enough to deal with herb expansion and also doesn't get completely clogged.

The hasp in back that holds the lid is weak and comes apart. Otherwise does a nice job

This strainer is great! I kept looking for one that really was a large strainer that would fit inside my tea kettle and this is it!

I found out we don't get the benefit of polyphenols in tea if we use paper tea bags/filters, so, I got this for making my pitchers of iced tea (or iced coffee/cold brew) so they maintain their polyphenol content. Use it frequently & very happy with purchase! I use 8 Tbs of tea leaves or coffee grounds & fit is no concern. I wash in dishwasher & never any issues. The clasp feels delicate but I am gentle with it (no reason not to be) & no issues. Highly recommend!

Great to use when cooking Soups or Stew.

Works great for holding seasonings when cooking. I like seasoning, but not crazy about it floating in my food. This solves that issue.

Had to repair it as the clip is a little flimsy.
