Perfect for catching trout without having to take it apart to fit in our smaller car. Fun to play the fish also because of its flexibility.

It says spinning rod on the header, the picture shows it's a baitcaster and that's exactly what I wanted. Love the length and the quality without have to spend at $100+ and up. Even my fishing group ask where I got from. I love this rod, love it. Would I recommend it, HECK YES.

I got this to use for heavier and ultralight lures and lipless crank baits .My preferred usage is baitcaster reel on light power rods that are sub 6' so this is a whole new direction for me . I do have a couple of other spinner combos but they are also light or ultralight and sub 6' .I took my most sensitive rod combo as a side by side comparison and really liked how this one performed . Chatter baits , lipless crank baits , square bill crank baits and bottom working ned jigs were the lures I used .The rod cast a country mile with 1/4 oz tackle , which I really appreciated , and the sensitivity was far more than just decent . I could feel the rattle of the rattling ones but not as pronounced . I'm not sure if 30 pound braid on this one vs 10 pound braid on the other was affecting sensitivity but I'm pretty sure that was a big part of why upon retrieval the line could be heard on every eye it rubbed against .Where this came up a little short was bottom lures . I couldn't tell on a few occasions if it was a bite or a semi snag as I was casting into areas with lots of underwater logs , tires , and unknown debris on purpose knowing there were fish there .Where this one shined brightest was on its stiffness when pulling in a fish . Though rated as medium it felt more like a medium heavy , which inspired confidence that bringing in a catch wouldn't snap the rod or cause a miss because it was too soft and flexible .Where I plan on using this rod the most is gonna be lipless crank baits and frogs into the weeds , thus the heavier line . I really felt confident that pulling Killa out of the lilipads is gonna go well this summer with this rod as long as he doesn't hear the line rubbing the eyes on the rod prior to biting .

Very nice rod. Holds up well for fish from 5-50 pounds. It can take a hard bend from a small bull shark, I thought it would play out, but it held its own.

Will not hold my reels. Too much space on locking ring. Pretty loose where rod joints together also. It's pretty but un-useable for me.

Very pleased with the spinning rod. will appreciate it more the next time I head out for some trout fishing after it cools off -- alot.

I use the ultralight to troll for large Rainbow Trout. On time delivery. Super fun to fish with. Prob ordering more
