Worked perfectly on my old Craftsman drill-press
I was given an old Craftsman drill press for free. This part fixed the drill press. It is working perfectly now.

It worked & fit perfectly for my Craftsman drill press!!
This not only worked and matched the specifications for the original cap for my Craftsman drill press it also was the right physical size to fit back under the cover. I saw many other options where people had purchased ones larger and could not mount it properly and taped it to the outside. This was a good price and so far my press is happy :). Thanks!!

Fixed my Drill Press
I had a Craftsman drill press that died while I was using it. Spun a little but wasn't working. Didn't spin at all a little later. Got a bit of a hum. This fit and solved it. Just take the numbers off the existing one. Farads and volts. Quick, easy fix and this cap fit in the spot. This was the only one I saw that would fit. Don't know about it's longevity but hey, the original didnt hold up so great and it wasn't expensive. I didn't need to worry about polarity in n my application so connecting it was easy.

I bought this for my drill press
My Craftsman Drill press got to the point where it wouldn't start the motor by itself, and I had to turn the chuck to get it going. This got old pretty fast, so I bought a cheaper one at Harbor Freight, just for the capacitor, as I couldn't find them online ANYWHERE back then. I am doing some remodeling and needed a Drill Press in my Garage. I figured I would look for a capacitor, ONE MORE TIME, before giving up and buying yet a 3rd drill press. Low and behold, Amazon has the exact one I need! I ordered it immediately, and got it installed in about 20 mins (Curving the wires around to fit inside the protector is the hard part). Now I have 2 working drill presses, and the capacitor is tons cheaper than buying a whole new unit!

Fixed Craftsman Drill Press
My old Fixed Craftsman Drill Press model# 137.219090 stopped turning and just made a humming sound when the switch was flipped. This capacitor fit in the housing and now the drill press works, for how long is anyone's guess. I soldered the wires, but you could probably use crimp style butt connectors.
