The bag looks the same as shown in the pictures. I am an English teacher and this bag fits all of my papers for grading, books, and notes. I like how there are 3 rings to hook the leather flap onto so I can adjust it based on how much is packed in the bag. Another thing I like is that no matter how much I fill it, it never looks bulky. The fabric is really thick, so I think it will withstand the test of time. So far, I’ve used it for over a month and am pleased with the product given the price point. My leather flap did come with a small imperfection on the it, but I overlooked it bc it doesn’t disrupt my usage of the bag so it felt trivial to return it. I’m glad I didn’t.

I will never have to pay for a carry-on or checked bag again. These fit into the Frontier sizes personal item sizers. The waist and chest strap take all the pressure off your back. I book short connections becuase I hate long layovers and this allows me to run to my connections. It fits everything I need for a 10 day trip. It is my favorite thing I have ever purchased.As for being waterproof...i dont think it would be waterproof based on the material, but I dont have plans of walking in the rain, so that doesnt matter to me.

The backpack is huge, and too big to be considered "personal item"Plus it doesn hold it's shape as well as the pictures.Update after usage: the backpack is too big for the airline on paper, but nobody stoped me.It is still a good backpack for a weekend trips, I will not risk it again as "personal item" though.If it's full, it holds the shape well.You can fit a lot of things and clothes plus it fits my 15.6" work computer.The packing bags are also very useful.The customer service was great!
