My senior dog, a Chihuahua mix, went in for a dental cleaning and scaling two weeks ago but the vet couldn’t do it because his blood work determined he could not safely go under anaesthesia due to high liver enzymes. I still wanted his mouth to be more comfortable and brushing wasn’t working. I figured I would try this device because the reviews were really good. I read all directions ahead of use. Once I got started it was so easy. At first my dog didn’t like the sound of the cleaner but once he realized it wasn’t hurting him at all, he just laid there and let me go to work. I held the cleaner on the tooth near the gum line and the tartar just peeled off . After it was off, I then ran the device over the tooth to remove the remaining stains and plaque. His teeth are amazing now. He has one tooth I could not clean because it needs to be pulled since it is broken at the gum line. It’s a back molar but at this point doesn’t bother him. Once his blood work stabilises we will take him in to have it professionally removed. This device is worth every penny! It only works by sound not vibration and it stops when it contacts soft tissue. It will only work on hard surfaces like teeth. The directions say you can even use on your own teeth if your dog hates it. I sanitized the cleaning heads with hydrogen peroxide and alcohol afterward but won’t be using this for myself. It comes with several different cleaning heads, a really nice dental mirror and scrapers.

I wasn’t sure about this product but other reviews were great so I thought I would give it a try! Packaged well, quality of instruments is excellent, device came pre-charged and has 5 modes from soft to extra strong. There are also extra tips and a wrench included for changing them. Charging cord included but no plug. My 6 year old Cavalier has done well with teeth brushing as well as loves chewing on her bully sticks. She has cleanings every 6 months (no anesthesia) but some of her teeth I the back of her mouth started really looking brown and I noticed her gums being inflamed. This is why I thought to give this a try as I am not wanting to put her under anesthesia. I did try on my own tooth so I knew what she would be experiencing. A slight screeching noise on contact though no pain. I am so impressed at how quickly this tool worked to remove the built up tarter. It was so satisfying to see larges pieces of tarter just coming off with ease. Start on soft as you may not need to go stronger. The molar teeth were her worst and I put it on “normal” mode, these teeth took a few minutes each but was surprised to see white teeth under all that brown yellow gunk. 100% would recommend, my girl eventually laid down while I was using it, so no distress or anxiety. Very easy, the instruments were also helpful for a bit of scraping that was needed. A bite block of some sort would be something I wish they included so it made keeping their jaw open without having to bite down on a finger when their jaw is tired or they decide they don’t like it. Great tool that will definitely help keep teeth in top quality and keeping them for undergoing anesthesia as well as saving you money on veterinary dentals. I have not discussed this purchase with a veterinarian for a professional opinion, so this is based off my personal opinion on first use. I was too excited to try it I forgot before and afters but she is smiling sparkling white teeth now! I also followed this with a brushing for a thorough job. We are happy customers.

My dog has years of thick buildup on her teeth. Within 15 minutes of using this tool, her teeth already look great. The buildup just flakes away with a few passes of the tool. It feels like magic and it's actually kind of fun to use. I also love that the vibrations are minimal, so the tool doesn't scare her. Everything about the design is perfect: variable speed settings, a built-in light, very quiet. This thing is a must-buy for pet owners. I wish I'd had one years ago.

This product is worth every penny! I have a 10 year old dog and don’t feel comfortable with sedating for a teeth cleaning because of the risks that come along with that, so I found this product to clean her teeth myself and its works wonders! I have already gotten chunks of plaque off so easily that brushing never could. It’s a bit of a slow go getting your dog use to the feeling and the sound just like anything new but working at it every day she lets me do longer sessions each time! You have to have lots of patience and don’t force your dog or they won’t trust it. We are slowly working away at it and she already has cleaner teeth than she has had in years. I love that it also comes with hand scraping tools as well not just the electric one, I switched between the hand one and electric one at first to get her use to the feeling and now I can use the electric one on a higher setting. If you’re looking for an alternative to sedation I highly recommend this product.

Wie andere schon schrieben, geht die Toleranz der Hunde diesem hohen Sirren gegenüber, sobald der Haken die Zähne berührt, verständlicherweise gegen Null. Es ist die Frage, wie sinnvoll solch ein Tool ist, wenn man den Hund im Grunde vorher erstmal sedieren müsste, damit der nicht abhaut. Was ich auch ein bisschen verrückt finde, sind die Preisschwankungen hier. Gerade kostet es 6,99 €, was in Kombination mit dem besch...eidenen Produktfoto ja nicht gerade gute Qualität verspricht. Ich habe es mir eigentlich nur aufgrund der Fotos in den Rezis geholt. Und ja, es ist wirklich kein Billig-Artikel! Was auch nicht ersichtlich wird, ist, wie groß dieses Instrument ist. Für unseren Dackel völlig überdimensioniert. Und in den gefühlt 2 Sekunden, die ich an seinem Plaque rumgekratzt habe, hat sich da auch nichts getan. Man kann also auch nicht sekundenweise die Zähne reinigen ;) . Vielleicht ist es wirklich eigentlich für Menschen, das dürfen sie aber nicht schreiben, weil das Gerät dann irgendwelche strengeren Kontrollen durchlaufen müsste? Ich weiß es nicht. Seid kreativ damit. Oder kauft es nicht. Geht auch.

Estoy enamorada de este producto. Mil veces mejor de lo que esperaba. Limpia todo lo que necesites. Vean las fotos. Aun no termino de limpiar, pero lonestiy haciendo por sesiones para no estresar a mi perrito. Llevamos 2 sesiones. Dependerá de que tantonse deja su perrito manipular. Pero el resultado es maravilloso sintienes paciencia y tu perrito tambien. Limpia un diente completo en unos 10minutos aproximadamente. Eso me tomó a mi. Mil veces mejor que ir al veterinario y tener que sedarlos. Mi perrito a veces hasta se quedq dormido mientras le limpio en modo confort. Me encanta. Si tienes perro, necesitas esto si o si.
