Cheap and different from advertised pictures
Bought it because of good reviews, but quality is very cheap and the mechanism is different than from the advertised pictures. Return without even trying.

El producto es de muy baja calidad realmente no es el producto que ellos están ofreciendo en su página web .

This is a very useful set of scoops. They make perfectly round cookies in 3 sizes, depending on your need. The scoop drop blade does a good job of getting most of the batter out of the utensil without leaving a lot of sticky build up. The metal is sturdy and heavy weight. I am very pleased with them and think they are well worth the money.

Great scoop for cupcake or muffin batter.

I looked for a long time for scoops to make my home baking life easier and, of course, I read many reviews. These were more expensive than many available but reviews at the time seemed favourable so I decided to give them a go. The package arrived very quickly and I opened it to see what the quality was like. I am a professional Chef by trade and over many years I've used many scoops for many applications. I didn't need industrial quality, just good quality, easy to use ones to make batch baking easier while at home so here are my honest views of the product I received. They look the part, the finish of the steel is shiny and smooth and the design looks as it should, after all there are only so many ways a traditional design can be messed with before it ceases to function as intended. With that in mind, on to the functionality and manufacturing quality. The scoops are made from pressed and folded stainless steel, the edges have been smoothed enough to ensure no sharp edges and the polished finish makes them easy to wash. The gear mechanism is nice and smooth and the springs return the scraper part within the scoop back to position with ease, until you use a stiff, sticky dough, then it's reluctant and needs a little help. The actual scraper mechanism inside the scoops, ie the real important bit for a scoop that moves round as you squeeze the handles sadly has such a poor fit it misses scraping approximately 2mm of any product out of the scoop so much of the ingredient is left behind and not released. This means if you are bulk cooking something like cookies, you are going to have inconsistent portion control or resort to scooping it out of the scoop manually every time which is, lets be honest, a waste of time and defeats the object. Other scoops I've used over the years were better machined and scrape almost to the metal, releasing everything in the scoop, these cannot achieve that. If I had ordered one of the sub £10 sets available perhaps I would have to be satisfied with the fact but as I paid a higher price I hoped for higher quality. In conclusion I should have paid a much higher price for one professional scoop and not hoped for a modest increase in price, over the real cheap sets, to give great quality. They are usable for some purposes, albeit barely, but I wish I'd just spent far more as stated above for top notch or far less and likely received comparable quality items. On this occasion quality and price bear no relation to each other.
