I've owned several silk pillowcases and to my dismay, my recent one ripped. I needed pillowcases that would be better on my hair during chemo where hair is viciously “kicked off” your head by the drugs used to kill cancer. Chemo kills all fast growing cells including cancer cells, hair cells, sometimes cells in the mouth and nail beds to name a few. So I bought the pillowcase to give it a try. What did I have to lose? (Don’t say hair-I’m still pretty fragile about hair loss!) But seriously, I do really do like it because it’s so smooth and not as likely to matte and tangle your hair like cotton fabrics can. It’s also cooler and feels really nice on your face. Pamper yourself and get one- or even two!

I bought this pillowcase because my thick, curly hair dries out and frizzes easily. I was doing everything else I could (co-washing, using leave-in conditioner and wide-tooth comb), and although I could get my hair under control during the day, I would always wake up with my hair dry and standing on end. I saw a few recommendations to try silk pillowcases, so I gave these a shot due to their very reasonable price. I was surprised by how significant the difference was. A side benefit is that they also leave my face less dried out when I wake up, which has reduced some fine lines around my eyes. Even my mouth feels less dry, which could be because they're supposed to be hypoallergenic. As far as washing, I put it through the washing machine (cold, gentle cycle) and hung them to dry, and it made it through fine. Overall, this was very much worth the money.

I have purchased this type of pillow case from multiple companies. Some were more and some less expensive. This one is my favorite. It is soft and has no crunch to the fabric. It washes well and has an invisible zipper. I have a 5 month old who has spit up on this so many times and it has retained its color through the washes as well. I got a king size and I will say it is slightly large on my flater pillow but not an issue for fluffy pillows, which still gives a little room. I wish it was available in more colors.

I thought when I would receive this it would be a cheaply made pillowcase and would feel rough. I have silk pillowcases that I paid close to $100 for and if you were to blind fold me I would not be able to pick which is which. That is how by feeling they are identical. The more expensive kind has better stitching but the most important part to me is the feel of the case on your skin and this one feels amazing. The color is beautiful and can’t wait to order more colors. You will not be disappointed with this pillow case. Trust me. Save your money.

I read good things about silk pillowcases and decided to pamper myself with one. I looked at several brands on this site and this was on sale and looked to be high quality. It’s so pretty and I have slept better since I started using it. I didn’t expect that. My hair isn’t all tangled in the morning and my mid 50’s year old face is not as wrinkled in the morning. I end up sleeping on my stomach sometimes and my face doesn’t pay a price for that with this pillow case. Highly recommend.

I love the smooth feel of this pillowcase and how it stays cool, presumably due to the fine weave and silk fibers. My hair is definitely less frizzy in the mornings after sleeping on this versus my cotton pillowcases, and I like having the queen size option because my pillows are longer than standard but not as large as a king. The fit is perfect so there is no slipping around on the pillow. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I didn't know what to expect when I purchased my first silk pillow case, but now after a couple nights of sleep I highly recommend! This pillow case looks and feels expensive and the quality is tough to beat, especially for this price range. Silk also tends to be healthier for skin so that's an added bonus.
