Not tried the universal version, but these were a very easy fit on a 2022 RAV4 and sound way better than the Toyota original ones.

Will this horn fit in a 2013 bmw 4 series?

No, 4 series is 2 separate horn units, I bought this one for my 4 series and its the wrong electrucal connections.
