Still not ready for prime time
The AirSelfie AIR NEO is light, compact, fits inside the pocket which would have made it an ideal selfie drone for travelling and indoor / outdoor fun. However, it was quite a disappointment after trying it out for a few hours. The Android app keeps crashing on my Samsung Notes 9 running Android version 10 (you may read the users review on the App to get some ideas). The photo quality is subpar and only has 96 dpi in resolution. This drone is also very loud which would definitely cause some unwanted attention in public areas.I have been building and flying lots of drones for many years. The idea of a portable selfie drone is very attractive for a drone enthusiast like myself but it still has a long way for this drone to achieve what I was expecting as one which is quiet, reliable, and taking good quality photos.

A Pocket ROCKET with a built-in camera? Yes, Please!
The media could not be loaded. A drone for all ages, AirSelfie’s AIR NEO Selfie Pocket Drone is a great beginner’s drone for those curious about taking their talents to the skies. As a first-time flyer, I found this pocket drone simple to set up with clear-cut instructions in the box. Right out of the box, the drone comes with enough charge for your mobile device to connect with and perform an initial test flight. The connected application was also very intuitive, explaining the different features and functions of the Selfie Pocket Drone. One caveat I found was that the control layout presented in the AirSelfie application was simple to use, particularly as a person with previous experience with joystick controls. However, if you have never used an arcade or home console gaming system, the control layout may take some getting used too. The artificial intelligence and auto-tracking technology made camera self-portraits and taking videos a piece of cake! With 16GB of onboard space stored in the already inserted SD card, capturing videos lasted well within flight time. Due to the ultra-compact structure of the drone, flying it in the elements proved difficult; however, that would be expected with a drone of its size. Overall learning the ins and out of AirSelfie’s AIR NEO Selfie Pocket Drone was a blast for my creative mind, and I am excited to see how AirSelfie improves on their products in the future.

Excellent funny gadget but the camera is a bit “outdated”
- It does what it’s supposed to do fairly well if thinking that it’s completely automated- Do not except a super professional result- Are quick launch and go camera to have fun sometimes

Fun and easy use!
Fun and easy to use. Very portable, so convenient to carry in a purse or pockets. Takes good videos and follows quite well.

Wait for a new model
Bad pictures. It would off and hit things - in my apartment - without any wind. The video and pics were grainy.Nothing positive to say except that it is small and portable.

Interesting AI innovation, but pretty much fails the basics.
I got this drone mostly because it has a slick pocketable profile and no need for an external controller. A lot of the more innovative features that make this drone unique are very buggy, and fail probably 50% of the time. When it works it is pretty cool and slick for getting a quick family photo somewhere a stick or tripod won't work, but the AI has a lot of trouble identifying faces (especially if there is more than one), so its likely to just fly around aimlessly, either endangering itself or others. When it does take the photo correctly, it will often fail to return, either flying the wrong direction, or more likely flying straight at you and failing to slow or stop (where it is also reluctant to stop the propellers after it crashes into you). If you're planning on using this for unique pictures you can't get with a selfie stick or a tripod, like rowing a kayak or atop a climbing tower...maybe it will work once, but its going to end up drowning or downing itself. The app is also buggy for manual flying, again about 50% of the time it is unresponsive to the tilt controls, or once engaged, will fail to change direction and fly itself uncontrollably into a wall. The screen seems to get more cluttered with each release, with the camera view barely visible in the background of a horde of overstretched buttons.Battery is good enough for about a dozen pics (if it worked correctly for each), but takes quite a time to charge. It really isn't suited for "fun" flying in manual mode, and would need an interchangeable battery for that. Flying outdoors, it's hard to tell if it has been caught by a stiff breeze, or if it's AI just had a brain fart that thoughtlessly sent it rip-roaring away. As short as the battery life is, it's plenty of power for it to fly uncontrollably into the next block, over your house, into the neighbor's pool, into oncoming traffic, etc...If everything worked as-intended, the photo quality would be a top-range smartphone selfie, circa 2010. But, in the context of it's ability to terrify kids and pets with it's spasmodic, uncontrolled flight, there's not much reason to have it. I'll keep it around in the hopes that future software or firmware updates clean things up, but it is terribly overpriced for where it is now.

Crap
The concept is a good idea however the product produces grainy pictures and only has a six minute battery life and it takes like an hour to charge. Don’t waste your money
