Finally Me!: Thanks to Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy

What an amazing book!!! I read it in two sittings and loved every bit of it. As I read Alicia's story, her words were so familiar to my life. I have marked so many things in the book so I can go back and read when I need that reminder. It is wonderful seeing how her journey has lead her to a place of freedom and feeling like the true Alicia! Thank you so much for writing this book!

Such an inspiring and real book! Alicia writes such an amazing book! If you are anywhere the process of weight loss surgery, or even thinking about it, you will relate! Highly recommend!

Alicia speaks the truth about weigh loss surgery and the emotions that I have experienced. I do feel I have always had a bit more confidence in myself than it always she began with, I can still relate. If you are thinking about VSG surgery, do it! She will tell you why. (Although the punctuation in this book is atrocious.)

I've been heavy since I was 7, I'm 30 years young and a few months away from surgery. This book was an excellent read, I could relate to Alicia it brought tears to my eyes a couple times! I can't wait to finally be me too!

I’m scheduled for VSG in a month and reading this helped me with my feelings toward surgery. A quick read!
