Pokemon Cards: Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX League Battle Deck

My son was thrilled with this pack!

If you plan to play at local events or in tournaments, this deck will not be up to snuff. First, it isn't standard in the current season. It contains many cards that are key for the deck but are not allowed in standard play. However, if you already have some cards and know you need some from here, it is nice. I personally wanted to try to work on a Shadow Rider Calyrex Deck (and if you're wondering, now it hasn't worked yet but I am still trying), so getting 3 V and 3 VMAX is helpful. It has some staples in the decks too which is helpful for all players, including Boss's Orders and Professor's Research. If you are totally new to the game, this may be a bit too complex of a deck even outside of standard play, as it is fairly slow to get online. If you are new, I suggest looking at TCG player articles, talking with friends, or going to your local hobby/game store and asking about what is good for beginners.

*Deck is very good but the box came damaged and the cards came warped I mainly play the Pokemon Trading Game Online but I saw they had one of my favorite decks I play, I had to get it in real life and I was about to spend around 15$+ on just the main cards Shadow Rider Calyrex V/MAX. So picking up a whole deck with them and other cards for 20$ seemed like better option! I would suggest to add some of these cards at least 1 more Calyrex V & VMAX as you only get 3 of them and these to help. Good product

This deck is great for those like me that have been away from PTCG for a while, but are looking to come back into play. This deck is amazingly good right out of the bat. Ready for the Standard play format and very easy to customize. It could be better by adding Crobat V, Mewtwo V and Vstar or adding in Arceus V/Vstar for better Energy acceleration. This deck is a must have. Calyrex Shadow Rider may have gone past its peak, but it’s resurgent and ready to blast away opponents.

Exactly as described! I was a bit nervous after reading some reviews about boxes being tampered with and packages being opened and re sealed. The box itself arrived a bit damaged on the corners, but nothing was open and everything was there. This box is a game with a 60 card playing deck, so there are duplicates in the deck itself. But great gift from someone or if you are just starting out!
