Powerful power inverter, digital screen has very helpful info, good plug options
The media could not be loaded. This device really packs a punch. I would say the first thing I notice about this is the size of the inverter. This inverter is pretty average size and can be easy to store in your trunk. There are no mounting screws or additional cables to plug in. It only comes with the positive and negative cable. It is relatively easy to connect you battery but it does require you to screw it in. This can easily be used to charge your laptop or other devices during a power outage if you absolutely need to. It also works great for certain devices in your RV if you are planning to do that. Although be aware the fan a bit loud when it is running but it stays relatively warm which is good. I would actually recommend keeping this off if you are not using it as the fan can be extremely loud. It is simple just to flip the switch on and off as needed. There are three plugs and two USB plugs. The inverter can be plugged into multiple devices. It does have a built in fuse so you do not have to worry about you device getting blown up from power. I am not sure how to replace it if it were to blow. The inverter will blow before it reaches your device. I can have my friend replace it as he handles these type of electronics. The casing is made out of metal however be aware that when you are using this that it does generate heat so keep it in the open air to avoid it overheating and actually blowing a fuse. This device is great for those camping trips where you may want to plug in your laptop or where you may need to power bigger devices in the wild. This device comes just the cable to plug into your battery device which is a bit on the minimal end but I have the other cables needed. The 1200w can support up to three devices (such as a laptop) and has two USB port for phone and tablet charging. There is also an ethernet port but I am not entirely sure what that is. I was able to hook up my mini fridge to this inverter but I did not want to push past that. It was able to power it for quite some time. It does have a decent cord length so you do not have to worry about the cord being too short and you can store this in several places. There are no brackets to mount this as needed. Overall I think this device is a very powerful device. It can be used to power big device. The fan is loud and this thing is pretty heavy. The digital indicator is very helpful giving your a lot of different information. The indicator is pretty bright so be aware of that when you have this turned on. The metal is easy to scratch as well. The only down side I see is that it does not have as much cable features and accessories as many other inverters.

Better than typical inverters, and an exceptional bargain at the price I paid from Amazon
Firstly, I want it to be known that the particular version I received does not have the issue reported by a reviewer of an earlier version of the same product; the reviewer claims two of the AC outputs are wired differently than the third of the AC outputs on the older version, specifically claiming the hot and neutral are switched, so that if all three AC outputs were wired to a panel, then the hot and neutral would be shorted. I have no idea why anyone would wire all three outputs to a panel, because obviously, wiring only one is all that is needed. Before connecting it, I checked all three AC sockets, and found all three hot and neutrals were the same, and the ground is not connected to either one of them, so all correct. Now for what sets this inverter apart from others:Pros:It has a more detailed status screen than almost any other, unless paying many times the price. The AC-output details are accurate and useful, but the DC input details are not as useful, see Cons, below. It includes battery cables, and very good rubber red and black protective insulators for where the battery cables connect to the inverter, so the battery connections will not be exposed. The fan is off when little or very low wattage loads are connected, so quiet when the fan is not needed, and the fan automatically comes on when the load increases or the temperature increases. It has an on/off switch, which is very nice if you've had one that doesn't have an on/off switch. The size is compact, and includes mounting slots, useful if not just setting it on a surface, which I did.For a 1200-Watt sine-wave inverter, the Amazon price was a significant bargain.Cons:I was expecting the detailed display to make it unnecessary to connect a separate meter for monitoring the watt-hours or battery voltage, but due to Ohms Law, a voltmeter in the inverter, without separate low-amperage "sense" wires cannot accurately read the battery voltage, due to the wire-resistance voltage-drop at high amperage, so the "input" battery-voltage and battery-level readings on the display are way lower than reality, unless there is a very low wattage AC load connected. When I was running 750Watts of AC load, the display was showing 0 battery level, and only about 11 volts DC input, but measuring the voltage at the battery with a VOM, it was actually 12.6V. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the DC volt reading at the inverter, it just means there is that much voltage drop between the battery and the inverter at around 60 Amps, due to wire resistance. Anyway, it reduces the value of the detailed display. However, the display is still useful for the accurate AC output Voltage, Amps, and Wattage, which is way more than you get with most other inverters. So, the only Con I have is the lack of separate voltage-sense wires, which would allow the battery voltage to be accurate, but since most other inverters don't have battery-voltage displays at all, that is only a con in that the user may be mislead into thinking the battery is lower that it really is. Just ignore the "Input" DC Voltage, and he Battery-Level Indicators" and it is fine.

Get the best pure sinewave inverter you can afford.
Nice inverter, Ampeak quality. But the 1500 modified sine wave does not power my "700 watt" Magic Chef microwave, because for whatever reason the microwave actually puts out 1180 watts... almost 500 watts over it's 700 rating. The inverter shuts down and beeps. The same microwave works fine with an Ampeak pure sinewave 2000 and the 2000 powers a mini fridge at the same time too, no problem. So I estimate the real world capacity of the 1500 modified wave converter at 1100 or less.Yes the small fans are loud but not whiny. Loud enough that you won't want to have them situated too near living space. They may come on for one second, or 3, or 10 or longer then stop again, etc.I recommend a larger Ampeak pure sine wave converter if it's in your budget.

Working most excellent.
This thing came in defective. The voltage will initially go to 110V but it then drops off until the unit errors out. I contacted the company several days ago but so far have not received a response from them. If they do get ahold of me I will update.Company did get a hold of me and they apologized for the delay. They went above and beyond to make it right. I have a new unit coming and I will update once again when it arrives after I test it.New unit came in and it is working perfect. Voltage is very stable and fans only come on during intense loads. Would buy this unit again. Once I connected with the company they have been awesome helping me.

Failed almost immediately
Product worked initially but just the second time using it, something failed inside it. When I first power it on, the little fan kicks in for about half a second before turning off and it doesn't turn back on until you cycle the power switch. It'll charge things just fine for about 2 minutes until it starts turning off and back on again over and over. Little red light comes on and it beeps, warning me of a failure, according to the manual. Sending it back

Displays Random Info
Tested it on my refrigerator. The battery lasted as expected but :- no warning beep before it cut off- shows random 80W or 90w every time I turn it on and nothing is plugged in.- Battery display totally inaccurate with LiFePO4. It stayed at 5 then 4bars then suddenly turned off at time expected.I got what I paid for ?
