This kale had a lot of hard chunks of what seemed like stalks through it. Husband was not happy with the dish I created.

I am trying to figure out how I lived without these in the pantry! With fridge/freezer space at a premium, anything dehydrated is a huge help. Awesome in soup, stews, casseroles, and even savory breakfast muffins.

Lots of hard woody stocks. Would not purchase again.

Caution. There are small wood fragments mixed in with the flakes. I don't know if they are from an indigestible, inedible part of the kale plant or if they are an additive. Even with rehydrating the 'flakes' and cooking them, these very small pieces of fiber, which appear to be wood, are not possible to chew. Whatever they are, you would NEVER choose to eat them and they would never be part of kale that you would grow or buy at the market.

If you want dried kale.... this is probably exactly what you want. It's kale, it's dry, it tastes great.

Lovely. I enjoyed it so much. But the price was too much so I'm not sure if I want to buy again.
