I love the idea of this tool, it's light weight, has a springiness to it which I also like. I gave it 3 stars, because the tool is a little too sensitive to being bumped out measurement. No matter how much I tighten the bolts, they want to move. seems like the rubber washers twist easily.

Love this template tool. Used it to cut a board at an angle fast and precise. It's amazing how it made a complex job so much easier. Just placed the ruler, fix it at the corner angle, tighten screws and transferred it to the board. Beautiful ! It feels great in my tool box. NOTE: I see that the supposed soft-lock system is a series of different textured rubber rings embedded on the screws, inner one is softer and the outer one is harder. It sure is no rocket science but I don't have to tighten screws hard for it to keep its shape. But to adjust the ruler I had to loosen screws pretty loose, since the softer rubber tends to kind of deform if it is a bit tight. GREAT TOOL !

works great better then the plastic one and half the price too.but mine did not come with the round locking nuts.it came with wing nuts.but that's ok still works.but I would change the picture before you get complaints that it's not like the picture

Returned with I. 24 hours of receipt. The item I received didn't match the photo, was flimsy and would not do what I needed. I spent a couple extra dollars and received exactly what this one was supposed to be

It's very light and easy towork with.

I love this tool ... very sturdy. I got it with the two longer blades slightly bent but after a little persuasion I got both blades straightened, now everything works really smooth
