How you can increase your riding enjoyment tremendously? The statics shows that not all the people wear the antiskid shoes while riding, which is very dangerous especially in an aggressive riding in a rainy day. In this way, the bikes pedals with clips and straps were invented which helps people easily to get a powerful and effective pedaling. And you don’t need worry about your feet slipping from your pedals so that you can pay more attention to your cycling. Why you need a pedal with clips and straps rather than a lock pedal? * You need to equip your lock pedal with a pair of lock shoes. * Besides, it's much easier to remove your feet from the clips when it's time to stop and put your feet down, which is easy for most of people. * In a word, it's much safer and more cost-effective. Fine, I guess
These are a direct replacement for the original pedals on my 2000-ish Gary Fisher Hoo-Koo-e-Koo. Honestly, I was hoping to use the death of the old pedals as an excuse to upgrade to something a little better/flashier/cooler. But alas, it was not to be. Seems the industry has moved to flat pedals in recent years. I just can't wrap my brain around not having toe clips and there seem to be no (or very few) flat pedals that accommodate clips. So after searching Amazon for a half-hour or so, I ended up getting these, which are pretty much exactly like their 20 year old predecessors. It's OK, I guess... they're fine.

WELLGO DM248D - too skinny for my size 12 feet
Amazon seller, please use the model number WELLGO DM248D on this product description!I thought I was getting an exact replacement for the hefty Wellgo KWU427 MTB pedals that came on my 2008 Schwinn Madison. Some of us want a larger, more solid pedal!I am 5'9", 220 lbs, and have gotten used to the large foot platform of the KWU427 while commuting in NYC. Just bought a gravel bike and wanted to find this model of pedals.

Not an exact replacement, but seems to do the job
Replaced the right pedal on a Sunny fitness bike. Although it wasn't an exact match to the original pedal it seems to be working fine, so I'll likely go to this product again when we end up wearing this one out.
