This Crabtree Havell's Wifi Smart socket is good to use, but unable to link with Amazon Alexa and Google assistant in UAE. I bought this online in UAE seeing that Alexa support in the advertisement, but notable to link with Alexa. Still useful, I can Schedule and set multiple time slots for on and off. So I am using it.

I ordered this smart plug for a friend to use with his Ola electric bike, and based on his experience, it works perfectly. The setup was quick and easy, and the interconnectivity is smooth, just as you’d expect from a smart plug. It handles basic tasks like scheduling on/off times and responding to voice assistants without any issues. While I haven’t personally tested compatibility with iPhones, it works well on his Samsung Galaxy S23, so Android support is solid. Grabbed it during a limited-time deal, and it was much more affordable than many other brands. Despite the lower price, build quality and performance have been great, with no issues even after regular use. Amazon’s delivery was on time, and the packaging was neat and secure. Overall, this is a dependable, budget-friendly smart plug, and if you’re looking for something that just works, this is a great option to consider. Highly recommended!

App craches frequently in my s22 ultra. But works fine in iphone.. otherwise product is good to go for.

Review Title :- DANGEROUS FIRE HAZARD - Melted after 12 days of use! ​ I am writing this as a serious safety warning. I received this smart plug on December 31, 2025, and used it to manage an oil heater. Despite using the heater with regular breaks (not running it 24/7), the plug failed catastrophically today, January 12, 2026. ​The unit has completely melted into the main wall socket. It is now fused to the outlet, making it impossible to remove. This has not only ruined the smart plug but has also rendered my wall outlet useless and created a significant fire risk in my home. ​If you are planning to use this for high-wattage appliances like space heaters or oil radiators, STAY AWAY. It clearly cannot handle the load it claims to support. This product is dangerous.

I have couple of other smart plugs as well and Crabtree is working well with the smart auto cut off timer than other brands for me, only thing is that the application works well with apple device but struggles with Android.
