Nicely made
This notebook is really nice. The paper is of good quality and the pages do not fall out like I have experienced with cheaper notebooks. I think it is worth paying the money for a good one. My only complaint is that mine is not as bright as advertised, there are no bright blue cats on the cover as advertised, they are drab grey and the orange ones are not bright either - they are more of a dark rusty colour, so that disappointed me, but I still love the design. I wanted a notebook that I was going to love picking up each time I pick it up and this one does the trick really, apart from the little niggle that the artwork is not as bright as advertised. The packaging is really lovely and unusual as it comes in a matching envelope, nicely done.

Heritage Press Crowd of Cats Design A5 Notebook - a quality notebook
This is a really nicely designed A5 sized notebook with striking artwork covering the front and back. The paper inside the covers is 100 gm (which is thicker than the standard paper bought for home printing, for example) and feels quite substantial. I use liquid ink pens for writing and the ink dried quickly, the paper was easy to write on, and there was hardly any kind of bleed through which means both sides of the paper can be used without a problem. This company is UK based to reduce their carbon footprint and say they are now carbon neutral. The board they use is obtained from sustainably managed forests and their printing process uses vegetable based inks. All this designed for them to be as environmentally friendly as they can be.The notebook comes in its own sealed envelope with a copy of the artwork printed on the front. This is intended to protect the book whilst in transit and it is stout enough to do just that.I have to make frequent quick notes and other jottings as part of my work and converted to using A5 sized notebooks for this purpose rather than have my desk cluttered with a pile of index cards. The result was immediate - a tidier desk and notes that I could find quickly and easily. Whatever your needs, a notebook such as this will be ideal - and there are several cover designs that you can choose from.Priced at £7.99 at the time of this review and containing 192 ruled feint pages, this is a particularly nice notebook that will serve many purposes and, given the quality of the writing paper within the covers, I think the price is reasonable. I will certainly be using this notebook myself.

Good value and very pretty
I really like this pretty notebook. Notebook arrived in paper packaging with same theme as the cover of the notebook. It has soft but harder cover. Pages are thinner comparing with other notebooks I've had over the time, they are also smooth and filled with lines. Using dark ink pen we can write something in this notebook but it may be see through on the the back of the page. Pages are white in colour and they are glued together. There is no fabric bookmark to mark the page we want easy come back to. We need to look for other alternatives to add to it.Overall it's good looking notebook for every day use, good for school too. There is plenty lovely cover designs to choose from. I can recommend this notebook, it's good value for money. The other 'fully loaded' notebooks are at least two times more expensive than this one so we get what we pay for. I'm haply with it.

Love the design
Great value for money, I am really impressed with this high quality notebook.I love the packaging: it arrived in a matching paper envelope, so there is no plastic waste. Furthermore, made in the UK, I like the eco credentials of this carbon neutral product. The pink dog design is cute. The cover is bendy and it is not made from very thick card. If this notebook is intended for travelling, it is likely to crease and damage easily. Lined paper, no margins, the paper is thick and ink pens do not bleed through. It is lovely to write in.A pretty, lightweight and flexible notebook that is made in the UK. Highly recommended.

Really cute, and environmentally friendly!
This notebook comes in a sturdy paper envelope which has the same pattern as the front cover, and also has the eco credentials of the company printed on it. The envelope protects the notebook without any need for plastic packaging, and everything is recyclable. The notebook's cover has a cute and quirky dog design. Inside, the pages are wide-ruled and of decent quality. However, because it is bound like a novel, the pages don't lie totally flat so it's not always the easiest thing to write in, especially at the edges nearest the spine. Overall though, it's an attractive and environmentally friendly notebook that would make a nice gift.

Excellent paper quality but leaves paper traces where you pull a sheet
The Heritage Press 'Crowd of Cats' A5 NotebookThis notebook looks so fancy that it is a shame to waste it with terrible handwriting like mine. The cover is made from quite thick and soft cardboard, with the same print on the front and back. Moreover, the paper quality of this notebook is excellent, thicker than some similar products on the market, and perfect bind (glued). If you intend to tear a page, it won't look clean as there will be leftover paper from where you pull it, which I find eye-soring. Overall, if you don't mind the lousy look of the apparent line where you pull a piece of paper, I'd say go for this notebook.

Basic quality softback notebook with an exciting cover.
This notebook comes in an paper envelope with the cover design on it in colour. My daughter is thrilled with the amusing cats design. She is going to use the notebook for writing poems and anecdotes about our cat and garden wildlife. All the pages in the note book are identical. The lines are widely spaced for easy writing. There are no margins or other features on the pages. The pages are well glued to the cover. The paper is suitable for pencil and ballpoint pens. The price is high for the quality of the paper, but the attractive cover makes it a price worth paying.
