Wago 221-412 2-Conductor Compact Splicing Connectors (Pack of 100)

I've been using these Wago for several years now and I have never had an issue with a wire coming out or being disconnected ever. I have used them with 22 gauge in one side and 12 gauge on the other and they work great. I really like to use them when wiring multiple wires from a main feed. I hate trying to use a wire nut to tie more then one set of wires together. It seems like there is always one wire that you can pull out or it falls out on it's own when wiring in a light fixture. These connectors have individual place to connect each wire the same connector. They make Wago connectors in a 2 wire, 3 wire or 5 wire connectors. Life is great when using these for wiring in difficult places or overhead. I don't know what else to say, but I use these for all of my electrical connections. Yes, they my cost a little more, but I've never had a problem making and keeping a connections. They are faster, easier and more reliable than a standard wiring nut.

I need to do some outdoor wiring on a cold, blustery December day. Twisting wire ends with my lineman's pliers and securing them with wire nuts would have been difficult, at best. Someone recommended Wago lever-style connectors and am I ever glad that they did.These hold wire ends securely ... stranded or solid, it doesn't matter. You can tell when the connector is locked because the lever is back in the home position. There is a gauge on the side to inform you how much insulation to strip from the conductor. Because the case is transparent, you can be certain that your stripped copper is inserted properly into the Wago connector. No twisting of wire. No wire nuts to pop off (or to mangle your wire ends).

These connectors are a game changer. They make installing everything from ceiling fans to light fixtures so much easier.Just make sure that you are purchasing authentic Wago branded and made in Germany connectors. Anything else other than the authentic Wago brand will not do and may not be safe.
