Good quality and value. Most 3.5 lb anchors are similar but the devil's in the details. Metal anchors are all alike although some come in colors. This one is silver, which is fine. Caribener clips are standard size but BEWARE some brands are so sharp I got sliced! This one seems fine. Ropes are NOT all equal. This is wax-coated rope so I expect it will not get immediately tangled as my old anchor did. Bats are not all equal -- this is a thin but sturdy material, not sure how long it will last so I put padded mailing bag inside for added cushioning.

Works ok for my paddle board in calmer water. It's light enough to carry around or paddle with. Not heavy enough to anchor you if you're in water with large boats creating waves or if the bottom is strictly vegetation (no rocks).

Pros :It can be hooked on to something to help hold in place like a rock or a downed tree in the water, and even with dirt or sand, it would drag a bit and dig in .It’s about the size of a large 32oz water bottle and was able to fit inside my SUP cooler with other gear .It’s has the bonus of being reflective with the anchor, being shiny metal colored instead of painted, the rope and Bowie are also bright colored, help others or boaters see it.Was easy to use and held 3 SUP boards in place for the most part even when close to the boat drop where there is lots of wake .Cons :It is it 3.5 pounds to if you have to hike in consider that .The claw design may help it grab on and Hold into place but it also has a chance of getting stuck, and you would have to dive down to fix that.If there is a lot of waves 🌊 it will slow get pushed around unless hooked on something so if you snorkeling or spear fishing when you surface your SUP or kayak may have significantly moved ,and it’s not made for really deep water .Overall a great buy !
