Turmeric Curcumin and Wasabi for memory and focus enhancement
I've been taking a turmeric supplement for a few months to help with joint pain and mobility. I discovered recently when I increased my turmeric dosage that it also improved my memory and brain function and I was surprised by that. This supplement from Primal Labs BioMeric Advanced actually touts the memory and focus benefits of turmeric and adds wasabi to it to increase the bioavailability of the turmeric. Wasabi extract is also supposed to be a liver detox and immune system booster. There are 400mg of their turmeric "longvida optimized curcumin extract" and 200mg of "i-Sabi" their wasabi extract in 2 capsules. The listing says a university study "showed cognitive improvements in focus and memory in as little as one hour." I'm putting it to the test today and just took 2 capsules so we shall see if I notice any cognitive improvement in awhile. UPDATE: After taking 2 capsules, within an hour or so I did notice a difference in my alertness and energy that lasted most of the day. They definitely had a positive effect. The capsules are not too large, smaller than many, and the smell in the bottle is a little like wasabi but there's no taste. The product is expensive at about $50 for a 30-day supply, but if it really does what it says, then I think it might be worth the expense.

Wasabi Infused Capsules
I recently read a report that said wasabi was essential to increasing brain function, so I wanted to try the Primal Labs Biomeric Advanced Supplement with wasabi. I was hoping to see a remarkable difference in my ability to concentrate and focus, instead of having my mind wandering. I can definitely tell when this supplement has hit my digestive system, as it produces a specific "warmth" in my stomach. However, after using this specific product for two months I'm not seeing the marked difference in my ability to concentrate and focus. Is wasabi good for you? Yes. Does it increase brain function and concentration? For me, I cannot see that specifically addressed, and for the price of this supplement, I can't afford to just keep taking something that I don't see as beneficial.

Up to 285x more bioavailable than standard
As a runner, I've been using curcumin to fight inflammation since long before the supplement went mainstream following use within the autism community. The main thing to watch for is whether the turmeric for a given curcumin supplement is standardized to contain 95% curcuminoids. A couple months ago, for example, I tried Earth Echo Superfood Bliss, a "turmeric and superfood elixir blend", which provides 500mg of "organic turmeric root" per serving, but since it's not standardized on its curcumin content there's no way to know what you're getting. Interestingly, Primal Labs BioMeric Advanced does not follow this standard, but makes use of the patented "Solid Lipid Curcumin Particle" technology that "makes free curcumin 67 to 285 times more bioavailable than standard 95% curcumin", which not only provides "optimal absorption", but "safely crosses the blood-brain barrier." Additionally, this product includes an "advanced wasabi extract" called "i-Sabi", delivering "the potent active compound 6-HITC, which stimulates cellular protection and repair while promoting brain neurite growth, liver detoxification, and a robust immune system." While significantly more expensive than competing products, this curcumin product provides features I haven't seen in the many other competing curcumin products I've tried in the past year.

400mg Longvida Curcumin + 200mg Wasabi extract
This is an excellent curcumin supplement. The formulation includes 400mg clinically studied Longvida curcumin (which is my very favorite curcumin extract), along with 200mg I-Sabi wasabi extract.**Longvida has been used in multiple clinical studies at a 400mg per day dosage, showing benefits for everything from inflammation and pain to improving cognitive functioning.**I-Sabi is a bit less researched, but it's a potent wasabi extract that activates Nrf2, which regulates the body's antioxidant status and inflammation. The recommended I-Sabi dosage is 200mg, 1-3x per day.Longvida is my favorite curcumin formulation, and has some of the highest bioavailability of any curcumin form I've seen. "Longvida ensures 285x greater bioavailability and delivers 65x higher blood plasma levels". Compare that to curcumin with piperine, which can claim only 20x greater bioavailability.Thoughts:Great formulation providing a therapeutic 400mg dosage of Longvida, and a therapeutic 200mg dosage of wasabi extract. This is definitely a step above being just another curcumin supplement, and I can notice the anti-inflammatory effects from this within an hour or so of taking it.

Quality supplement
These are easy to swallow with no bad after taste or upset stomach. I have been taking turmeric for several years to alleviate pain in my back due to a work injury where I herniated several discs. I can not attest to how fast these work because I have been taking turmeric for so long. I can tell you, if this wasn't a quality supplement, I would be able to tell by the pain in my back.

Healthy supplement for me
I have been taking turmeric in one form or another for many years. Recently I discovered the benefits of wasabi. It was nice to see them both together, and so far the benefits have been helping me in my sporting events. At age 70, I notice the difference.
