Want to know everything? here go
Have you ever played Elden Ring and thought I want to know everything. Well Here you go. It will even tell you where you forgot your car keys when you are late for work and provide you a precisely detailed step by step guide and map of the crypts you must explore and the enemies you must face to complete the side quests required for you to speak certain NPC’s to unlock the ending in which you become Elden Lord and can mend the Elden “key” ring so you can finally make it to work 300+ hours later. This book covers everything which sounds great from detailed Dungeon Maps to the locations of crafting materials. Honestly it is too detailed if there can be such a thing. I cannot imagine keeping this thing open while playing the game because of the sheer magnitude of a single volume of this book. Honestly it probably runs counter to the game since the hours you’ll spend pouring into this volume is probably equivalent to a playthrough of Elden Ring. The book is beautiful but so much information is provided it seems like it was was detrimental to the layout if the book and I’m often confused by the book and the text is small making it difficult to read in low light. Still recommended to the guy who needs it all.

Extremely high quality guide
Wow, this is an incredible book. An extremely high-quality guide. I had a fear that it might be one of those cheap guides that seem to be making their way into the marketplace, but I was pleasantly pleased to find it was not. This is like an encyclopedia. An absolutely beautiful product. Highly highly recommended.

Simply The Best
If you are not familiar with Future Press and you are a fan of High-Quality Collector Video Game Strategy Guides then look no further. FP is quite honestly the Mercedes of printed guides. High Quality, insanely accurate, and exhaustively researched. This Volume includes everything you need for a full and complete walkthrough including all endings etc. for Elden Ring. Volume 2 will be more of a Beastiary, with full info on all enemies and bosses you meet on your travels but don't worry, Volume 1 is as complete as you need to beat the game and find everything. As others here have mentioned, Amazon's packing was under par and I also had a slight dent on one corner but this isn't Future Press's fault. Hopefully, someone @ Amazon reads these and packs them better later. 5 stars for the Book and its quality and info. Also comes with a huge, 2 sided Map of the entire overworld of the game area. 2 Stars for Amazon's bad packaging. Also note, these books have a high resale value as they always sell out and do not get re-printed so don't wait! Just check the re-sale prices on their past Dark Souls editions and you will see!

Worth it to fully explore such a great game!!
Beautiful hardcover book that leaves no stone unturned, literally. Wonderful maps with locations of EVERY SINGLE ITEM. Complete area by area, catacombs, caves, tomb maps with step by step walkthroughs. My favorite section is the NPC guide. Gives you every possible dialog and what to do/where to go next to advance their particular quest line. The lore section ties together the overall story (which was lost on me as I didn't read item descriptions). Close to 500 pages of info, art, maps and reading for an awesome game. Sure you can go online for this information, but the presentation, collection of so much information, exhaustive easy to read maps make it well worth it. Great companion to any gamer's library.

Great presentation ahead, but Be wary of errors
It's a beautiful book. Great quality art, text, maps, and even a huge foldout map that, for the fans, has two sides, with and without the map markers, in case you want to frame one side in particular. A flaw exists in my copy due to the way it was shipped, stored, or handled, where it lay on an angle in the box with no padding for an extended period of time, and Gravity magic made it bend a little. Easy to fix, but , thanks Amazon? The chapter flow is interesting, it separates walkthroughs by world map and legacy dungeons, so doing a blind walkthrough with this book as your only guide will require page flipping, book marks, or the little color coded sticky thingies you can put on the edges of pages. This is a nice alternative to things like Fextralife and Wikigaming wikis, however, because there's no slow down from ads, annoying twitch streams autoplaying in the bg and sucking up my bandwidth, and, well, at this point, cutting up a bunch of trees to make paper and using it a bunch of times is probably more green than using up the power and bandwidth every time we need to look up Ranni's questline. And even those wikis can have incorrect information, due to ignorance or patch changes (although at this point it's accurate 99-100% of the time) Now for the actual cons: there are a few errors, typos, and misnomers that may confuse someone, without the internet to fact check. This the age we've come to. We have to use the internet to fact check a book (and i still dont remember how to write a proper bibliography, sorry high school teachers.) I'd already logged over 200+ hours by the time this book was released and sent to me, so a lot of the actual errors i found were apparent, like one section mentioning a completely different area as part of a questline, then going back to mentioning the correct area, things like that. The biggest fault for this game is the index because it does not include npc's or questlines; essentially, there's a section from pages 349 to 500+ with nothing indexable. The questlines walkthrough are why i mostly bought this book, and not being able to look up an NPC or questline on a whim, w/o the internet, was a huge misstep with this book. Despite all that, the index at least has the decency to contain weapons, sites of grace, and quest items. I have not checked the accuracy of said index, but i would hope the index is correct in what page the items are noted on, but even then, it doesn't list each page the item is listed/mentioned on, only the one page it's marked on a walkthrough map Despite the shortcomings, it's a fun little player's guide, the biggest of it's kind, i would think, and much like the game, it's a beautiful but flawed masterpiece.

Simply incredible companion
This is a truly incredible guide to have while playing Elden Ring. Especially at the price ($40 at this time). The detailed maps and NPC story guideline are key for ensuring nothing is missed. Of course you can find the same info on the awesome community wikis, but there's something cool and convenient to have a physical book while playing. Part of it appeals to the older days of RPG gaming with thick guidebook, and the amazing RPG that ER is makes for the perfect fantasy game experience in today's age. I'm eagerly awaiting Vol 2 for the continued knowledge on combat and equipment guides, which is not included here. I also wish the index was more fleshed out. The way it's structured, you'll probably be flipping back and forth constantly between the maps/dungeon guides and the storyline sections. I haven't mentioned the hardback and page quality is great, no notes. The map is huge but can be partially folded and flipped during use and so far it's holding up. I highly recommend this book if you're considering.

For the Sophisticated Gamer
Yeah, you could use websites for a lot of this info. But what are you, some filthy plebeian gamer? Truly maidenless behavior. Those sites are infested with ads and bad formatting anyway. You're better than that. This book is official stuff, truly a work of art and labor of love. It won't answer every single specific question you may have (what a foolish presumption), but it gives you the info you need to navigate this huge game. Don't give clicks to those foul gaming journos, desperately clinging onto their jobs by writing mediocre guides online. Or wikis that give you so much detail that there's no longer any sense of discovery--this guide gives you just enough. Return to physical, embrace the old ways.
