The Vilka's Mate: The Shifters of Kladuu Book Two: 2

So damn good! The descriptions of Kladuu are so amazing, you can picture the scenery in your mind's eye. You feel the heat of the jungle and you can taste the salt spray of the Hylan clans home, the Vydal. You can imagine the mountain, dug out by giant worms, of the Vilka clan. I loved the differences between the clans that call Kladuu "home". I felt the misery our human protagonist, Jude, felt at her agonizing dilemma of choosing true love with the Vilka Alpha, Gerrit, or returning to her duty station to care for her younger sister. I love this series and can't wait to read more.

I’ll give the author credit for some interesting aliens though. And those aliens, especially the lizard people, certainly had personalities in spades. The female fighter pilot on a test run crashes onto a planet full of diverse aliens. She meets an alpha male with a huge package (imagine that) and they mate.

I enjoyed reading this book. Kladdu is a new planet with shape shifting aliens. Great characters with amazing stories to tell!

Just as good as the first one. So fast moving and exciting. Couldn't put this one down either. Hope the next one will be just as good.

I liked this whole series.
