I was so heartbroken when the product was discontinued. When I initially tried to order the this version, I was sent 2 primers, instead of one primer and one GT Pro. For some reason, I tried a few other really popular premium brands that are out now. My daughter is a makeup artist and beauty advisor at Sephora and she really helped me test so many of the newer brands and the tried and true. There is no comparison to Jane Iredale. This product (even when I have omitted my primer) lays better, stays better than any of the brands I tried. A little of this product goes a long way. As for the color, I was a little confused between colors. I had read from other reviews that if you wore the previous version, then to go down lighter a shade. So, I picked up GT4. I was using BB5. I am very pleased with my color choice. Review: New formula is not the same and packaging is terrible! - I loved the old BB formula and have been wearing it for years. The new formula is drier, tackier, cakes into lines in the face, and does not have the same dewy look. The color was way too orange/dark and I needed a different shade. The packaging is wasteful compared to the old gold tube and dispenses too much product at once, creating a mess. On top of that, the pump broke after only several uses! I bought the product again in a lighter shade which was better, but the pump is already sticking. Sadly I will not be buying from Jane Irdale again unless they go back to the old formula. From the reviews here, seems like a lot of people feel the same way I do.

Great makeup
I love the coverage and texture of this fantastic makeup. This my second order of the revised formula…with my first order I had to adjust my finger pumping pressure so as not to pump out such a large amount…which I did at first…wasting a lot of makeup. Once I adjusted for the right amount of flow, the make up comes out perfectly and goes on so smoothly with such beautiful coverage! I love that this product offers not only great coverage and flawless texture, it is actually good for your skin!

New formula is AWFUL
I’ve been using the old Glow Time for years. Such good coverage and left a dewy glow. This new formula is absolutely awful. The color shades are off so go at least a shade or 2 lighter . It dehydrates my skin and at the end of the day it’s all splotchy and my skin looks dry and just awful. and there’s no dewy glow. It just looks caked and dry. I will be looking for a new brand and will not be buying again . So disappointing.

Dark and painty
Not the same as before, I had to go 3 shades, from a 6/7 to a 4 lighter and still it’s a bit too yellow and should have gone down one more. Pump does get stuck so you have to manually pull it back up each time. It’s more painty this time, than before it was more moisturizing. I have had $15 store bought that was better. The only one good thing about it: its still Jane iredale and I trust its healthy for my skin regardless of appearance, so I layer it with the purepressed base powder to subltle the shade. They should discount this formulation, and go to the previous one.

Miss older formula
I purchased this in GT1 and GT3–my previous color was BB3 with BB1 as a highlighter. First off, GT3 is warmer and darker than BB3 was. I suggest going lighter if you’re game for this product. Otherwise still a very full coverage color correcting formulation; however, unlike the previous formula which seemingly offered better hydration, this new product sucked the moisture right out of my face… I have Sahara-dry skin to be clear, and Jane Iredale used to be my go-to. I personally prefer light-to-medium (buildable) coverage, and unless you mix your JI primer and BB cream together then apply it, this foundation is FULL-full coverage. But I don’t recall it being so drying. I believe (don’t quote me on this) it moved up 10 SPF in its formula, and that may be what’s causing it to look and feel chalky on my face; but the previous formulation was so complimentary to me, yet this one isn’t. For some background: I’m Caucasian, 35, and had a hysterectomy with ovarian failure at 29. My hair is 80% white and gray, but my skin (outside of its dryness) looks like a sun-avoiding 30-year-old’s. With all that context, I have very slight creasing when I smile big around my eyes, and very slight expression lines with movement. No plastic surgery or injections of any kind. My point in sharing all that is: I look exponentially older with this makeup… the previous formula didn’t age me at all, but this one sticks in and exaggerates fine lines leaving lines of makeup wherever you smile or move your face. Overall, I’m disappointed that the formula was changed. I get the packaging update, but why change something that was working?? I guess it maybe wasn’t for everyone… My final thoughts: Avoid if you have dry skin and/or you’re over 35; or if you simply don’t want to look older than what you are. I understand some people would prefer fuller coverage to skin-like texture, but as someone who wears foundation strictly to color-correct redness from rosacea and a mast cell condition, this product is too heavy, cakey; and instead of oxidizing on the skin, it becomes chalky as the day wears on. (To note, the products I used beneath it were: Rosewater to wipe face off / tone in the AM; Avène Antirougeurs Fort cream (redness-reducing), Avène Tolerance Emulsion Cream; oil mixture of 40% carrot seed oil, 40% raspberry seed oil, 10% evening primrose oil, 10% vegetable glycerin; Good Molecules Priming Moisturizing. Then mixed 50/50 JI Brightening Primer (the Illuminating one broke me out, sadly) and GT3, and used GT1 as a highlighter lightly down the center of my face.)

Great product!
I was so disappointed when I couldn't find my original BB cream. I was afraid I wasn't going to like this new Glow Time Pro product. Let me set your mind at ease. This is a great substitution in an already phenomenal product line. A couple of things you need to be aware of. First, it is less product for the same price. (.50ml/1.7 fl oz for the original vs .40 ml/1.35 fl oz for the new one.) Second, the shades are different so you will probably need to go lighter in the new line. I was a BB3 in the original and had to go with G2 in the new one. Also, the Glow Time Pro has more of a matte finish and it lasts all day. I also use less product now. A little goes a very long way. All in all I a very pleased with the Glow Time Pro. I have used Jane Iredale for years and can't imagine using anything else on my face.
