Looks badazz on my Sonata!!!
So look in the pics and see that this is the correct way of installing this. First off I cut relief spaces around 4 inches apart. I used like 50+ nuts and bolts w/ red loctite. Once lined up (pretty much just eye balled it) on the bumper drilled one hole at a time and dropped a screw in without a nut. Once I made it all the way around i pulled off the rubber and made sure everything was clean and smooth. Once cleaned all was left was to pull the backing off the tape and put on the bumper making sure the bolts lined up with the holes going 3 sections at a time. Then this is the most rewarding part....Must have a heat gun ! Break out the ol heat gun and start warming up the rubber making sure ya don't cook it. Just get it to where you see it start to move a lil with the heat on it swiping back and forth in foot sections. All those imperfections are now gone (wavy notes on the rubber due to curves and what not). When the rubber cools down it will get more stiffer again so don't worry if it feels soft. All your looking for is crisp even lines. You'll understand when you get it out the box and pieces look like " how the hell is that gonna even out". The 3m tape pretty much is garbage and I knew that from jump street so I could have gone with rivets or bolts. I went with the latter just in case i need to replace it one day. Looks at the pics I have a 2014 Hyundai Sonata and it pops now with this on there !!!

The other "OHIO" review......
I live in Ohio. I read the guys review from Ohio saying how well it stuck without the screws and he had no issues. Sold! Well lol, he is either the dude who sells this or is a paid spokesman. Mine stayed on for 3 days. That's it. And I even used the included screws for reassurance and good thing or it would have been off and on the road by now. PS, 4 screws is not going to cut it if it don't stick. 8 maybe but not 4. And most people don't have self tapping small screws just lying around. It stayed on the straight front parts but failed on both corners. I feel like I should have gotten paid for how crappy my car looked on the ride home when this happened btw. Stuff just hanging off the bumper....so I learned that yeah it looked good when attached correctly and that one great OHIO review should not sell you when there are 50 other bad reviews saying it does not stick and that there are not enough screws. They are correct. Man though, that guy had me pumped with the updates and everything. Like if it made it here it can make it anywhere aditude. And I'm from OH too so everyone else just don't know how to properly install. That's what the issue is! Lol nope no it isn't. And if that guy isn't payed you should btw. He is the reason your selling any at this point.

Invest in prep time
Installed on a Subaru Crosstrek. Be advised that it has an obnoxious chemical smell upon opening. Just lay it flat in an unoccupied room for a few days. The smell mostly goes away. The installation instructions were in Thai. Lol But there are pictures tho. Had to clean the underside well with wipes/soap/water/alcohol. The cleaning may take a few rounds, but very important. It won’t stick to a dirty surface so don’t get mad if it falls off later on bc you’re too lazy to spend the extra 5-10 minutes to really clean the underside. (Just saying.) It comes with two adhesive promoters but it should have come with 3. They dry out pretty quick, but are essential for the adhesion process. It does take some time to measure and cut out the “triangles” for the bends. I just used a pen to mark on the red tape to guesstimate where the bends are and marked the triangles from there. Also, you’ll have to force the lip to bend. The lip is rubber, it’s not all that elastic. Would also recommend utility scissors to cut the triangles too. The rubber is thick enough that I’m not sure normal scissors will get the job done. I had to use two hands to clomp down on the scissor handles. It’s been 3 days since the lip application. Hasn’t fallen off so that’s good. Also haven’t used the screws yet but will probably put them on. Haven’t braved sending it thru a car wash just yet so may have to send an update for that later on. All in all I like it so far. Considering buying two more for the side skirts IF the front lip lasts thru a car wash. Lol I do like that it’s rubber bc cracking a real lip kit would make me cry. *Update (4/3/18): Front lip still on after 4 automatic car washes and a couple of thunderstorms later. Still haven’t gotten around to putting the screws on either. 👍 **Update (2/4/19): Front lip still on. Eventually had to add 2 screws to one of the bends bc it was starting to fall off at the ‘corner.’ (This was the same place I had to cut “triangles” to make it bend.) The screws were recently installed in Jan. 2019 so the lip held up well with all things considered. Sadly the front lip had an unfortunate run in today with old debris from a blown tire. The car in front of me kicked it up so fast that I didn’t have time to swerve or brake safely at highway speeds. Poor car took it like a champ. =/ Oddly enough, the lip is still on. However, the center portion of the lip split horizontally right where the lip and adhesive part meets in the middle. Will probably have to replace it eventually as rubber will degrade making the gap even longer. However, I will be purchasing another three once it’s time. I’ll redo the front lip but also add side skirts. ***Update (03/05/20): The original lip is still on! The adhesive is wearing off on one end near the wheel well, but not bad for 2 year application. Got lazy and used Velcro to keep it on for now. The split in the middle has widened, but still safe to drive with. Ran this thru the car wash well over 30+ times. Some of the carbon fiber graphics has worn/scratched off, but still decent shape with all things considered.

If its sunny where you live, dont get a colored lip, trust me lol
Took a chance on this cheap lip. Yes im aware it needs to be screwed in but I didnt want to and if it fell off cause of that so be it. Ignored bad reviews. Was fairly easy and straight forward to put on. Was great for the first month. Highway use and everything was cool, yes with no screws. Month #2: I notice the red trim color faded to pink. I guess the sun is brutal down here in Georgia. Colored over it with a red paint pen but that too faded LOL oh well. Maybe a vinyl trim would work better... Later in the month the 3m weakened in one spot, I was prepared for this and reinforced it with more 3m tape, all was well for a couple more weeks. Month #3: Hit a bad patch of road. My front bumper was protected but lip got ripped. Managed to salvage it with more 3m tape and buy myself a few more weeks of use but by this point the writing was on the wall. Today was the last gasp as most of the lip ripped off the car when I backed into the driveway. I had a replacement EZlip liner waiting for this day. Will be putting that on now. Elapse 1 Year: EZlip stayed on but didnt stay looking pretty. It was longer and more prone to getting scraped along the ground. Didnt protect my front lip as well either, ironically... I'll admit it, I miss the cleaner look of the cheap Samurai lip. Today my oil change place did me in and hit my front lip against a parking curb so the EZ lip has to be removed and front lip repaired and repainted. At the end of the day, its not fair to fully judge this lip without screws. I am now in the process of either deciding on slapping an STI lip underneath my other lip as a skid plate or giving this liner another go, this time WITH screws. Either way, for the money, this aint bad. Without screws, it'll only take 1 bad hit but at least it will protect your stuff. With screws may fair even better! Perhaps it depends on the car and how low you are.

Super cheap, super easy, super cool!
I bought this because I didn't feel like spending $350 for a "real" lip, because for an appearance mod I think that's just ridiculous. So I figured what the hell and bought this, not expecting much. I'm glad I read the reviews, because the adhesive is definitely not enough to hold it on its own after installation. Do yourself a favor and go spend like $3 at your local hardware store for about 15 more self tapper screws and washers. Also be sure to clean the underside of your bumper very well before you stick it on. It's super pliable and easy to cut. I let it sit in my garage for a couple days to let it settle flat (it comes rolled up in the mail). Didn't even jack up my car or put it on ramps to install this thing either. Just started on one end, stuck it on, and went all the way around. Then I used a stubby Phillips screwdriver and put in 15 screws with washers and I was very very surprised with the results. I think it looks awesome, nice subtle addition to add some aggression to the front end, and honestly, it looks way cooler than I thought it would. I've already had a few friends ask where I bought this! I've only had it on a couple days, but it has shown no signs of wear or tear, and hasn't come off at all. I did a little highway pull to 110 to make sure it wouldn't fly off and again, no signs of wear or peeling. 4 out of 5 stars because the adhesive alone is definitely not adequate, and it really oughta ship with 15-20 screws. But that's it. The quality of the vinyl is terrific, nice and thick. The faux carbon fiber looks fantastic for the price, and it was one of the easiest things I've ever installed on a car. If you want something cheap and east to make your ride a little prettier, I highly recommend this. Just don't expect this to add downforce, because it purely is for looks.

Not worth it unless its temporary or if you buy your own weatherproof max hold adhesion tape
It was somewhat easy to install but it dis not last long. The double sided tape was shit! I cleaned the bumper where this sticks to with alcohol really well. I cut the corners where it bends. It looked okay when it was installed but it only lasted a couple days before it fell off. I even had to buy some extreme stick double sided tape for the corners where it meets by the wheel well. If it had better double sided tape maybe I'd give it 4 stars. But i jave a feeling even with that ot would fall off after a car wash.

Useless due to adhesive
Good looking product but terrible adhesive! I build cars so I properly prepped with a denatured alcohol before installation. I did not use the installation screws, as I wanted to decided if I really liked the look before drilling into a 2021 GT. Unfortunately, the lip fell off as the vehicle sat parked in my climate controlled garage in less than 20 hours! Most body trim adheres with an automotive 3m tape and does not need any additional reinforcement. In fact, you usually need a heat gun and strong monofilament or piano wire to remove body trim from a 20 year old weathered car. This is definitely not an automotive grade adhesive, probably not even an exterior adhesive. I have to give this product 1 star because its useless without using reinforcement screws and that should not be necessary! I liked the look while it lasted but I had to throw it away in disappointment!
