50’s kid brought me here but frankly my old 2004 325xi is a great ride. Battery died and all of a sudden I get the DSC and Antilock Warning lights. But before I purchased this - btw the price jumped like 100%. - c’mon really chip shortages? Idk, but I tried to disconnect the battery but I didn’t undone the positive and I saw on some YouTubers vids that the electronic modules can still hold faults with less than 12 bolts. What worked for me is turning the steering wheel left and right three full times and on the third, voila! The codes cleared. Thank goodness as everyone has raised prices and I thought I had to replace the ABS sensors which also skyrocketed in price! Good luck;))

I PURCHSED THIS FOR MY SHOP, ITS OK, REALLY SLOW BUT GETS THE JOB DONE. MY 1 STAR REVIEW IS BECAUSE LAUNCH WILL NOT LET YOU PURCHASE MORE THAN 2 SOFTWARE PACKAGES IN 30DAYS. I PURCHASED THE PORSCHE AND GM PACKAGES EARLIER THIS MONTH, NOW I HAVE A MERCEDES IN THE SHOP AND I CANT PURCHASE THE MERCEDES PACKAGE BECAUSE OF THIS LIMITATION. WHY THE HECK WOULD A COMPANY LIMIT HOW MUCH MONEY I GIVE THEM? MAKES NO SENSE. UNITS SOLD ON AMAZON ARE NOT SUPPORTED BY LAUNCH USA, SO OVERSEAS CUSTOMER SERVICE... SO NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. IVE EMAILED THEM WITH NO RESPONSE. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING.

At first thought it was a waste of money but after connecting to wifi it's amazing, changed a immobilizer unit in a 2018 acura rdx was able to program both keys and immobilizer unit you can download software as you need and it pays for itself immediately.

This LAUNCH Elite BMW works great. I have three BMWs, of various years (2002-2019), and this scanner is incredible. It automatically scan the VIN, turns off and turns on the car, and identifies all the modules. It will then scan them all ECUs for codes and report any issues. It also had an active mode where you start the car and it will do more in depth tests. It allowed me to clear out and diagnose codes that would have cost me a fortune to have addressed at the dealer. In addition it will register a new battery and reset the oil change lights. Super tool and well worth the price.

I bought this tool to register my new battery in my 2016 328d xDrive. It worked without a flaw. this scanner is a must have for BMW owners, and I also used it to activate a solenoid valve for the vacuum system to test the valve. it works . I recommend.
