What a joke
Maybe it works with Pine, but doesn't do a thing with hardwoods

Powerful drill didn’t get it done.
I read the reviews. Sounded like a bunch of clueless people trying to use their 18 volt dewalt. I have 2 very powerful plug in drills. Still didn’t work. I did try it on harder wood. Still it barely made a dent. Definitely wouldn’t split the wood.

Only for small, dry, soft wood.
You need a very powerful drill to split a small log. Great for splitting very dry soft woods, like a pine 2x4 from Home Depot. Don’t throw away your axe just yet.
