Lots of aftermath, but still some awesome
This volume, which is the first one to take place following the final battle with the elves which occupied most of the second half of the series, spends most of its run time cleaning up after the events of said battle only to briefly, most of the way through, explode into new material. Given that this is the penultimate volume, the new stuff represents mostly setup and the first stage of the final conflict. As usual, the titular Spider shines well above everyone else in the cast and both quality and energy drop significantly the moment the narrative leaves her viewpoint. This is doubly true when the story switches to side characters who seem unlikely to ever do anything that matters to the ultimate outcome, such as many of the less important reincarnations. As such it's hard not to feel that this volume, like much of the second half of the series as a whole, is unnecessarily padded out simply to meet a contractual demand for 16 volumes.Despite this, there are genuinely humorous moments centered on spider-y awkwardness and, when the new material final rushes in, the best conflict in ages is unlocked. It seems D has managed to arrange what will hopefully be an interesting finale after all.

I'm scared to read 15
I will read it this weekend but I am a bit hesitant because of the implications of how 15 is going to go.I will post a review when I've actually finished. Hopefully it doesn't hurt me too badly

Tying up the loose ends.
So this is the second to the last volume. I must commend the author for knowing when to end a series before it over stays it's welcome unlike many other light novels. I'm looking at you slime. This book is a lot of set up for the final showdown yet it was still enjoyable. I can't wait to see how the series ends.

True
I agree with the author that this volume was basically a build up for the final battle, but it didn't feel like it while I was reading. This novel showcased the views of the various characters that have appeared, their conflict with the world. And of course one of the main appeals was White's awkwardness at being social!

A truly glorious cliff hanger
This series certainly knows how to set things up, honestly this one was certainly extremely interesting and I feel like whilst I have no clue how this shall end I look forward to its release when it does. For no other reason than it will be glorious!!!!!!

First reveiw on this book
i finished reading this at 2:20 am 22nd November. even with it being a set-up novel, it was still good, I'm glad to see that the explanation to the other reincarnations was handled better than it was in the web novel.and i hope that ln 16 gets translated soon.

very fun
I liked it a lot. Sad about the cliffhanger though. Wish they didn’t do that, but I guess that gives more time for theorising.
