Fullicon V-Shape Pill Splitter for Small Pills, All Shapes, Grey

I purchased the Fullicon Pill Cutter for my cat, to cut veterinary prescribed tablets into two equal halves for a morning and evening dose over a four-week period — so it had a good daily workout.Once out of the packaging, the instructions recommend rinsing and washing before use, which I did. The unit has a couple of different sized pill holders, allowing you to find the best fit for your tablet to ensure a clean and accurate cut. I found this worked well and held the tablet securely in place.The key tip I would pass on is to use a firm, single cutting motion — this seemed to ensure a consistently clean cut each time. In terms of cleaning, I washed it weekly during use as there was some dust build-up in and around the pill holder, but it cleaned easily and presented no hygiene concerns. After four weeks of daily use, build quality remained solid with no issues whatsoever.Overall, a well-made and practical product that did exactly what I needed. I would recommend it to anyone needing to split tablets cleanly and accurately, whether for a pet or for personal use.

It’s fairly simple and straightforward to use. I needed it to cut very small tablets in half and it worked well for me. It’s good value and able to cut different sized and shaped pills using the different inserts. It is quite sturdy and is accurate once you get the hang of it.

Great idea to have different templates, and it has many options. I wanted on this occasion to cut a pill meant for humans but one that my cat's vet dispensed as there is a stock issue with her usual brand.The pill is oblong and already has a cut line to in the middle to cut it in half, but I need only a quarter. There isn't any template for that, so I adapted one of the smaller templates, it sort of works. I am throwing some of the pill away because it isn't precise enough, and some pieces are coming up too big. I have to say, though, this pill does seem extra crumbly, so I take the piece that looks the nearest to a quarter. I think the cutter is ok. It is a bit fiddly, but I'm happy with it.

It cuts well once tablet in position - but the little foam moulds that are supposed to hold the tablet secure are too small for my size pills. I have standard size paracetamol round tablets that I need to cut into quarters but the round option is way too small. So I tried using a long capsule but again the mould is too small. So I had to try to use the plain flat cushion by just laying the tablet on it but unfortunately it’s fiddly and moves and doesn’t cut accurately. I know it says for small pills but I thought it meant it would cut normal sizes that you buy. Will send back and try and again.

The Fullicon pill cutter or splitter for small or large pills, with V-shape holder is great for cutting in half or quarters. The different size holders (10) make it so easy to cut all size pills that I have to cut including the very small 2cm wide that I have to cut in half and the quarter so she gets 3 quarters each day. Wish I had found this years ago instead of have to struggle all the time with other cutters.Also, like that the very sharp blade is hidden when the cutter is opened.Have no problem giving this 5 stars.

I've had pill cutters before, that have cut uneven and made a proper mess, but this one is different. With the different pill shapes and sizes moulds enclosed it's easy to find one that's a snug fit and holds the tablet in place. Every time you get a clean cut in the centre of the pill with no bits crumbling off, and because the blade is hidden there's no accident's with cuts. It comes with 2 little boxes, one for holding the assortment of size/shape moulds and the other to hold any meds if you are going out. Would highly recommend to anyone.

So I already had a pill splitter as I need to cut the pain killers I take into quarters as they are too large for me to swallow. This splitter is like 4 times the price of other similar ones... is it worth it? Well I was drawn to this one due to the silicon inserts that fit different sizes and shapes of pills. Unfortunately, there is not one big enough for my pain killers. It does however have a silicon insert that is blank - so I tried that. Pros: Even with just the blank silicon, it does cut the pills cleanly and evenly, even when it came to cutting the halves into quarters (which my old one did not). It is easier to open between cuts than my old one and the blade not being exposed is good.Cons: It is still fiddly getting the pills into position (whether it would be easier with the correct silicon size for the pills I don't know.) A couple of times it has got stuck half open and was difficult to open it properly afterwards, so I am not sure how long it will last.So is it worth the price being 4 times that of other similar? I'm torn on this - the biggest plus is that the 1/2s and 1/4s are much better and more equal. No cuts as the blade is hidden. So in conclusion it is much better than others without the silicon (with the addition holder to keep the cut pills in), so I would def buy this over the cheaper ones. If it's worth £20, well you decide. I do recommend it,

I was so hopeful due to the silicone holders. Despite the pill staying in place the blade did not cut cleanly even when going down a predefined line. When I had to make a quarter, I was left with lots of broken fragments from tge medication which means not a whole dose being given as its small fragnments/shards.Put it straight in the bin ad I've been doing a better job with a cheese knife.

Great product, far better than 2 previous purchases from the pharmacy.My tablet is oblong so these inserts are perfect.No more crushed or fractured pieces.Granted I’ve only chopped up a few so far but so far so good

I have tried other types of pill splitters but this one is by far the best. I have two animals that need tiny pills. One needs to be cut in half, the other in quarters. The silicone pads will fit most pills I'm sure. Just find one that keeps the pill snug in place and close the lid. The cutter is protected so you don't need to worry about cutting yourself. For the one I had to cut in quarters, I just rotated after the first cut. Every pill was cut cleanly. Other products have never done that for me. You also get a small pill storage container and one for the silicone pieces. I always read reviews before buying and I find it interesting some reviews said it was a terrible product. Frankly, this piece is a great value and will do exactly what you need it to. Not too expensive and worth every penny.
