Some people don’t like this yarn because they say it’s too rough and scratchy. I’ve found it to be a great yarn for my charity donations. The colors are lovely, and it wears like iron despite frequent washing. It also gets softer and softer the more it’s washed. It’s my go to yarn because it’s inexpensive, readily obtainable, and works up nicely. Like I said, a workhorse.

I love knitting, I am fond of knitting. This product is very nice, its texture is pleasant and when you wash the knitted piece it does not lose its color. It is resistant and of very good quality.

Great yarn for the value. It is not incredibly soft, but I have found does well after a gentle wash with liquid fabric softner. It is durable and a nice thickness as expected from worsted weight. The ombre works up very well creating a lovely and seamless color for any blanket. It is acrylic and easy to stitch with on metal hooks. My one complaint was a section had to be cut from the middle due to a large knot and some black discoloration. Overall, I am enjoying the yarn. WIP lemon peel stitch baby blanket to be gifted.

Very nice coloring Ipoh this yarn, and I like the large skein. No, it’s not soft. But there are plenty of projects that require a sturdy yarn. (Think witches’ hats). If needed, you can always wash your finished creation to soften it. This yarn is bright, and shades nicely. It was a bonus to me that I received 3 in the same dye lot. I wasn’t necessarily expecting that. The reasons to order on Amazon? Availability. Price. Most important to me, is that I can return it if the manufacturer is trying to off load a bunch of yarn that wasn’t dyed well. I have previously ordered this brand through a fabric/craft store, only to understand that it was a good price because the colors were not as vibrant as they normally are. But it would have cost me to return it, so I felt stuck. Hello, Amazon. And thank you to Red Heart for standing behind your product here, if that’s the case.

Large sized skeins of one of my old favorites. Beautiful bright colors, and I love that the yarn is sent in a set with the same lot numbers. Very thick for worsted weight, and softer than Red Heart was in the past.

This was a bigger size than I was expecting and at a great price. Quality is good and can be used for knitting , crocheting and other crafts It's soft but strong.

Love the ease to have a new ball of yarn delivered right to my door. Wonderful!
