Repeat Customer: first an Professional; Now An Informed Patient
This is the 3rd edition of this book that I own. The previous 2, from the 90's, were for professional use. I'm now disabled & on multiple medications from several doctors. Complications, adverse reactions & contraindications are very much a part of my life now. Since I know pharmacology & have this professional knowledge, I preordered the '18 edition. It came earlier than anticipated, and it was like holding an old friend. (My last edition was 2000.) I use it to keep my medical team up to date on what I'm taking; I know what symptoms to look for amid the myriad I suffer on a regular basis. It compliments the information I get when speaking with my pharmacist. I consider this book a requirement for someone with diseases & disorders that require the newest brand medications on the market.

Lippincott & Kaplan's Drug Guide which Mosby's is the BEST Drug reference book
I have tried Davis's, Lippincott & Kaplan's Drug Guide, none of which compares to Mosby's. Mosbyβs is the BEST Drug reference book because the organization is simple and straightforward. I'm thankful to my professor b/c it was a required textbook which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. If you are a nursing student, I highly recommend this book because it had helped me especially when making the required Nursing's Adpie Graphic Organizers for my BSN program!!! Best of Luck!!!

Best nursing drug handbook on the market!
This is the easiest nursing drug handbook to read and use, both as an RN and as a student. Easy to locate generic drug names and easy to find administration, patient teaching, and other pertinent info. I will not purchase any other drug handbook. This is my bible. I teach nursing pharmacology and recommend this book to all my students.

Smooth e book
E book on Kindle is easy to use unlike some other titles. Just type in the name of the drug and it beams you to correct location. Has y site compatibility, uses of drug, what to look out for as well as other info. I tried the free sample for a bit then ended up purchasing. It's nice to have this resource on my phone.

I love this book
I love this book! I prefer this over the one my school recommended I get. Its very easy to read, bright pages and color coding. This book is full of useful info. I plan on keeping it & I will get the updated one from the author/publisher when it comes out.

WHERE IS APPENDIX B?
Several drugs on here say to see appendix B and low and behold the kindle version ends with an appendix A. When I pay $40 for an ebook, I expect the whole thing. The rest of it is well made and easy to read and use. I enjoy the searchability of it.

Detailed and comprehensive. It may sometimes contain too much information for the novice nursing student but it is an excellent reference for any drug out there as it literally contains everything packed in this little book. Because it's so small and thick it's sometimes difficult to keep open (physically).

I haven't had to use this book yet but it's required. I used Mosby's Nursing Diagnosis reference book and was quite happy with it so I anticipate the same from from book. If I'm smart I'll edit my review then ; )
