WiFi Water Timer 2 zone for Irrigation, Diivoo Smart Sprinkler Hose Timer Compatible with Alexa and Google Home, Wireless Remote Control Irrigation System with Wi-Fi Hub, for Outdoor Garden Watering

I hardly ever leave reviews but this device is just brilliant!Almost every year or 2 I have to replace the automatic watering device which is out in the sun and rain all summer and inevitably succumbs to the British weather. This spring I spotted this wifi enabled one and decided to give it a go. I got the 2 channel version. 6 weeks in and it’s just fantastic. I can switch the hose on and off from the garden or put it on a timer with a sprinkler. The other valve is connected to an automatic watering system that runs on a schedule set up in the app which works perfectly.You place the wifi enabled bluetooth transmitter (which just looks like a low profile adapter/plug) somewhere near the valve where wifi is available and then install it in the app (I’m using Smart Life). The app tells the Bluetooth transmitter when to turn each valve on or off, there’s also a single button for each valve so you can do it manually if you don’t have your phone to hand.Although some of the notifications to the app are either late or duplicated and sometimes the status is a bit slow to update, on the whole the system works really well. I’m sure these bugs will get ironed out.Only had it for 6 weeks but so far so good - I just hope this one will last better than others I have tried. So far the outdoor valve body seems to be holding up well - we’ve had a lot of sun so far this year and the shell does not appear to be being affected by UV. Fingers crossed.If you are undecided I would say go for it!

I've just set this product up and have only used it for 24hrs but my first impressions are that the product is very good.Included in with the product were:- All of the connectors for the two hose push-fit connections, including two mini rolls of PTFE tape;- A Wi-Fi to Bluetooth bridge - which is the same size as a normal smart plug.The instructions were easy to follow - my only brief confusion was the need to allow Bluetooth connectivity permissions for the SmartLife App. Once added to the App, renaming the two outlets was easy, as was the setting up of timers for each separate output. I already used the SmartLife app and so had already linked my account to my Alexa account. As soon as the two devices were added to SmartLife, they were automatically connected to Alexa. It was then an easy process to create routines for manual control outside the normal timings, to turn on each outlet, wait 10 mins and then turn off. The command 'Water Greenhouse' or 'Water Raisedbeds' will now water the greenhouse or raisedbeds for 10 mins via voice control.The product itself feels robust and well made, with limited controls on the device as all of the control is carried out on my android phone. All in all, albeit after only 24hrs, this is an easy 5 stars. Very pleased.

The media could not be loaded. So, I have several smart hardware at home and usually they are easy to install, so it's not my first time pairing something similar. Nonetheless, this one was a big disappointment. You should press the button for 5 to 10 seconds in order to have it in pairing mode. You know it is in pairing mode when it starts to blink 3 times a second. However, and as you can see in the video I press it but it just doesn't go into pairing mode, so I'm unable to find it on my mobile. In a nutshell, the malfunctioning bluetooth on the Wi-Fi hub makes it makes a useless piece of plastic.

For the money, absolutely great. Easy set up. Program works fine but the 'play now' function is a bit hit and miss - but I don't need it for that. Couldn't get it work with Alexa but that's no problem for me as that's the same as the 'play now' function.

The problems I encountered bares no reflection on this product. It was purely the size of my garden and the need for three zones. I bought this to supplement a three zone sprinkler. When I fitter I realise that my water pressure was insufficient to reach the extremes of my garden. This prompted me to purchase a water pump. That had its limitations as it needed to be controlled by water pressure. Hence only one of the three zones could utilise the pump. The other two zones were just able to be fed with the tap water pressure. I then realised that in order to fully use the three zones. I needed a control the water going into the pump. So this year I bought this single zone device. Now I can switch the pump on and off using this device at the appropriate times in conjunction with the three zone device, each zone in turn. I now get sufficient water pressure to all three zones. The attached photograph shows the configuration I had to make to meet my requirement.

So far. Great. Easy to set up. No leaks. Excellent. Hassle free. I had the app already. For something else. Took a few mins. Alexa even sorted its self out with out me doing anything.

I purchased a 4 outlet unit and was very pleased with it so purchased this 2 outlet version as well for another area in the garden. The units are made by the same manufacturer, look the same ... but... are incompatible with each other! - each has its own hub and even the app's are different and not compatible - its as if the units come from different manufacturers - weird!Now for the better bits, units seem well built and work very well. You get supplied with a hub and a watering unit - the hub connects to your network and the watering unit talks to the hub. You download the app and then set it up. Once I found out the hubs and apps are not compatible across the different watering units, they actually connected easily. Both apps give good versatility of control - you can set many timing options.Overall pleased but shame they cannot work from the same hub and app.

Early days as only just received it but so far it does exactly what you would expect. Easy to setup (use the tuya app not smart life, its oems proper app). Time will tell on build quality. I’d be reasonably happy if i got 2 years out of it for the money just to cover when i cannot water plants myself.
