little disappointed - but my mistake
I am a big giraffe collector and when I saw the cookie cutter, I could not wait to order it. I was going to order a few, but the blurb said last one in stock and did not offer a time limit to order another one so I could only get 1. (but now I see there are 20 being offered) Then I added the monkey cutter as well, thinking I would have enough to have for the 4 grandkids BUT I GOOFED. I thought it said 5 in a Box, BUT IT SAID- 5 IN B1223X but- WILL JUST HAVE TO LET EACH GRANDCHILD USE ONE WHEN THEY COME TO VISIT!! GIRAFFE Cookie Cutter 5 IN. B1223X Thank you for letting me post this! But I did love, love, love my wonderful giraffe coffee mug.... That is best thing I ordered besides Robert Goulet CD's over the years

You must read the instructions! Do not let this ...
You must read the instructions! Do not let this sit in the sink or else it will rust. You are suppose to wipe it with a damp cloth when you clean it. Even though there is instructions that tell you this, I did not read them and mine rusted :(. I contacted the company and they replaced it for me :). I can now make giraffe cookies again!

I haven't tried it - but son's girlfriend bakes cookies - I have yet to see the cookiesand tried them - she hasn't complained about it - so I'm hoping I did well bygetting it for her for Christmasthanks

Its a pretty cool cookie cutter!
You have to stretch it out a bit..the tail always ends up keeping all the cookie dough for itself. Other than that its a nifty little cookie cutter, I just need some ideas for using it more often.

Perfect size!
Perfect size!! I made a ginger bread mix and a sugar cookie mix so I was able to decorated each one and personalize a few. I put in clear plastic and tied a ribbon around his neck, very cute!! I used these as 'take home' favors

Practice makes perfect!
Five stars because it is as advertised and it does make giraffes. however the appendages are thin!! it takes practice and PATIENCE!!! use a harder dough.. we used sugar cookie dough and they were very fragile. we did however make 3 dozen and about a dozen went into the "graveyard" pile lol
