Yes, it will work. I also used it for Comcast all-in-one package and it worked great!

you need this device if your phone service is one pert of the house and you can't run wires to another part where you'd also like service. You need phone jacks to plug into this, one on each end. If your phone service provides a phone jack that allows you to plug a handset or fax machine into it, then this should work.

Q: What is difference between ge tl86597 instajack & ge 96595 instajack

I don't see a significant difference. The TL86597 has a indicator on the front to let you the status. One not the TL86597 does state do not use with surge protector. The surge protector interferes with the signal. So if you use power strips and have issues you may want to remove them.
