The Qwiizlab 4-in-1 USB-C 3.0 Hub is a must have device for my Apple IPad. I am a travel photographer and try to travel as light as possible taking my Apple IPad on trips instead of my Mac. The Qwiizlab 4-in-1 USB-C 3.0 Hub makes this possible so I can download images from my camera’s SD card to my IPad for backup to my IPad “files” folder or backup to a connected flash drive or upload to any of the cloud applications.

Love the versatility of different media types. Cannot use with my phone, due to my phone case. Connector does not fully engage without an extension cable.

When I purchased my first MAC Book Pro using the new technology, I was frustrated when I had to buy extra hardware to access data from my USB and San Disks. I refused to buy the older Mac because I don't enjoy buying old technology just to continue using what I believe works best for me. I realize that at some point, I will have to buy this version of the mac and I'll only prolong the agony. My first docking station really sucked because it got so hot, I had to continually disconnect it from my mac so it could cool down. Now, don't get me wrong, this 4-in-1 device is in no way a FULL docking station. However, it is one of the best alternatives when I'm traveling. The docking station I finally purchased to use with my mac book pro requires that I plug it in to a wall unit. So, that makes it difficult when traveling. So, this USB-C 3.0 Hub, is a good solution when I need to access data from my devices. I also just ordered a dash cam that has a smaller chip than my San Disk. I was quite excited to know that this device has a port for the chip. What makes it nice, too, is that because the device actually covers up the access to the mac charger port, it includes that same port in with the other options. A nice way the product developer used realizing they need to circle back and cover all of their bases. My only concern about this device is ensuring that the tip of the hub is sturdy enough. After many uses, it could break. I have not had any issues to-date, but you need to be extra careful. I would not use this as a hub for every day use, but would definitely take it with me on travel. You can't beat it for its size and ease to carry. It can easy fit in your purse or pocket. Another issue is not being able to use the product if your computer is stored in a case. Refer to my video and how I had to remove the case in order for the device to fit properly.
